does the cylinder base gasket use with glue or not?
If the surface is rough and not flat a very thin layer of high temp RTV on the gasket is okay, but use sparingly. Let dry for 24-48 before firing. Otherwise, install dry and follow the torque sequence. You could also "stake" the gasket in thin areas by using a punch to upset the aluminum surface by creating a divot with raised edges that will hold the paper gasket in place.

I think this is the issue with my 377. It runs pretty good but there's oil and shit all under the fan shroud and under the hood
Pressure check it to find out. Or just do a gasket refresh to be sure.
I'm gonna rebuild it. Hopefully it ain't a crank seal too!

Jugs/pistons/heads/reeds/carb boots from a Phazer 485. Flycut EX440 case. EX440 crank. Comet clutch. VMAX 600 carbs.

If you pull the jug off and redo the sealing surface, yes. Gooping it on the outside is a bandaid and it'll leak again.

Zach this cavalier has the pushrod ln2 motor, it has a worn out t3 t4oe 57 trim with a .62 ar exhaust housing. I have a few videos on my channel as well. has forged rotating assembly and a stock head. It's been tuned with HP tuners using the ld9 supercharger reflash.
How much boost where u running and what injector size are u using

That carb is ruining that motor , not a performance piece . Holley equivalent pick up ALOT . Needs more than 750cfm . Nice engine , 049 heads can perform great .

Tiffany McLean One end has a ball that goes into the pedal, and on the other the cable slips through a collar with a screw to tighten it down.
