@SightnRide I'm not glorifying Majmudar, but you get an idea of course of events from the book. If you search the topics online, you'd get Sir Farhand's book on Google in bits and pieces. Both of these books don't suffice when it comes to the papers of recent years tbh.

@@mundaneyetproductive6285 What's the opposition of Norms ? It's divergent behavior, which is one of the causes of disintegration in society,conspicuously. So , according to me ,norms aren't chains. But , I respect your opinion 💕

For me, it's expected behaviour. Sometimes, expectations become chains. Especially when there's a socially accepted behaviour, people are expected to behave accordingly. Even the origin of some international laws can be widely accepted Norms. You definitely can have different opinion!

@@mundaneyetproductive6285 You may go for Andrew Heywood book on political ideologies where you will get the ideas and etymology of all the ism's ( Capitalism, socialism and communism ) and democracy, aristocracy and monarchy etc ... These are the core areas of paper 1 as you know .

For Muslim political thought go for Erwin Rosenthal book and for western political thought judd Harmon is best as you know well.
