I love LA Baja...my buddy Fred Webster built a place there near the lighthouse probably 40 years ago. His neighbor gringo had a massive house...Fred's place said he had 8K invested. He lost his beach from a hurricane once. His solution was to place old tires so the sand could create a berm. He offered $5 a pickup load for old tires. He was overwhelmed with offers which he said also included about two six packs of beer to negotiate. Near Tony's Turtle rescue. In those years the issues were the road going in there had extreme washouts. The other was the local PenMax station fuel station lost their credit and soon realized they made more money trailering in fuel and selling on the black market. Worse, the station at the turn going into LA Bay said they had diesel...I ended up buying fuel from a trucker. Anyway, good luck selling it. I would except I am probably older than you.

We got to photograph the race a year or two ago, and it was awesome! We'd love to be a part of it in 2025 if invited. It looks like a great time.

6-15-22. Crossed SENTRI this morning at 8:15 AM. It took 15 minutes. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE BLUE FENCE IS NOW GRAY THAT WILL BE ON YOUR RIGHT SIDE AFTER YOU ROUND THE THIRD ROUND ABOUT. All other intormation is accruate , however. the giant high rise condos now number FOUR INSTEAD OF THREE. Our aging 4x4 Surburban was quite DIRTY after a month in Bahia de Los Angeles. We were quite surprised when they sent us to SECOND INSPECTION? Seems they thought it a bit unusual for two senior citizens to be FOUR WHEELING about Baja in the family car three of four times a year. In the future we will hit a CAR WASH BEFORE WE HIT SENTRI... Sure hope you're enjoying one of the most amazing places on the planet! I firs went there in 1985 and fell in love with it. My wife and I will be heading that way in October of this year to fish and enjoy it's splendor would love to buy you a beer and pick your brain about buying land there and of course trade a fishing story or two! For what is a Sentri card? I am planning to move to Tijuana and work in San Diego.
