@@DavidLawrenceDaley Thank you for your words. I appreciate it.
Great content! However, I noticed that your videos could benefit from some SEO optimization to increase visibility and reach. SEO plays a crucial role in boosting views, which in turn helps your channel grow. After all, why put in all the effort to create amazing content if it’s not reaching the right audience? I recommend optimizing your channel and videos with effective SEO strategies-such as improving titles, descriptions, tags, and thumbnails-before releasing new videos. This small investment will yield long-term results, bringing more views, likes, and subscribers to your channel. Trust me, it will make a huge difference for minimal effort!

God Bless the firefighters, all of you. You are needed by us citizens, and never do we want you to think we take you all for granted. You are so important to the very fabric of this country. The work you do , the building's you save and especially all the lives you save while putting yourselves in harms way. Bravest of the brave. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. We owe you all so much. Thank you
it has the effect of squeezing out the middle clasd and converting nto the rich neighbrhood with illegal immigrant servnts
You fire fighters keep doing what you all do best. Be safe and may this horror story be over soon.

I'm still surrounded in people who recognize the data is all fake and yet still treat it as real for financial decisions - this is why believing the data is SAFE AND EFFECTIVE for your health
The United States is the most privileged grouping of people on the face of the planet. Even with all the excessive privilege this country has, 70% of people are broke. 7 out of 10 of your neighbors are literally living paycheck to paycheck and are simply one hiccup away from losing it all. Most of it is their own blatant stupidity. With the possible exception of a house, if a person does not have the finances to outright buy something, they should not buy it. People willingly use credit for simple purchases and they foolishly borrow money for crap they don’t truly need. Credit and debt is enslavement. And people willingly shackle themselves with the chains.
Yes you are correct many people are living paycheck to paycheck and live will above their means. More often than not people are using credit to fund this lifestyle and unfortunately that makes them much more susceptible to risk. Bankruptcies on the rise. 38k filled in CA last year and rising. Thank you for thoughts and your wise words. 😊
such a stupid video. Palisades, PCH from santa monica to malibu, and alta dena are gone. You know how large LA is? Palisades was a beautiful town, but zero important parts of LA were damaged.
@@deliciousvegans4505 Pacific palisades is top 5 wealthiest communities in the country ? How’s that not important? I grew up in LA. Yes I’m aware of how large it is. Thanks for the difference in opinion though. I appreciate it.
@@Cameron.Desborough Because the Palisades is a totally residential area. Nothing important in terms of economics there. It's just a small and very wealthy neighborhood... How is that going to drop ALL real estate prices in LA? It'll actually increase property value via demand pressure. Real estate goes down when the economics of a city suffer, not when it loses a tiny fancy residential neighborhood you dunce.
@ Thank you for your kind words. I appreciate your difference in opinion. I guess only time will tell and reveal how the wealthiest communities in LA being burned to the ground will impact the economy. I would also like to make an example of Florida (post hurricane). The most recent hurricane that hit Florida did much less financial damage than these fires did. And as a result home prices have fallen in many cities along the western coast of Florida. Even in communities that weren’t directly hit by the hurricane. Thanks again. 👍
@ I would also like to make note of how you mentioned “DEMAND PRESSURE”. What demand? Mortgage rates are 6.5 - 7 %. The federal reserve recently reported the lowest mortgage application rate in nearly 30 years. There is no demand for housing. Coincidentally 30yrs ago was right around the 1994 earthquake in northridge (LA). And we were coming out of recession. Thank again
@@Cameron.Desborough bruh, you may have “grown up” in LA (riverside probably) but I LIVE in LA. Palisades were beautiful but it’s just one wealthy neighborhood and no one cares about Alta Dena. None of the important parts of LA were touched by the fires, and all the other wealthiest neighborhoods are fine, only palisades was lost. I think we’re good bro.
I think people r going to want to leave the State and buy a Home where the Home's are less expensive like here in Montana.
@@xavierortiz2690 yeah you are right. I’m sure a lot of people will just end up leaving LA. They are tired of living like this.

@@eliastahan2394 Thank you that’s very kind of you to say. 😊
Average home price to income ratio is around 10. I don't know how people can afford these million dollar homes in the ghetto?
@@santiagograciano8402 Yeah you’re right. Real estate has become very unaffordable in Los Angeles. But that’s nothing a natural disaster or fire can’t handle. I genuinely believe these fires could create a huge recession for Los Angeles. The earth quake back in 1994 brought down home prices.
@@Cameron.Desborough I hope they do bring down prices back to earth. Irrational excuberance.
@@Cameron.DesboroughI was in that Northridge earthquake, I was 1 year old. That’s good to know, I thought home prices might come down after these prices, I guess once they start building all the new homes there’ll be much more supply driving prices down a bit. 🥳
@@santiagograciano8402yeah like how does it even make sense how ghetto houses built in the 80s or whatever are $750k to $1 million? The government or powerful corporations are like manipulating the market and trying to correct it with this fire or something.
Really appreciate your informed perspective. Thank you
@@dustinhodges9987 Thank you for your kind words. And your welcome 🤗
hey cameron....i live in the Netherlands and what i don"t understand is that Biden promised that the federal government will cover the full cost of the fire's... can you please explain to me what that means?? i don't understand what will be covered....when i first saw the images i thought it was about the war in Ukraine....what a nightmare!!!
To be honest with you I don’t know what exactly that means. I don’t even think Biden knows what he’s saying. It definitely does not mean that the federal government is going to pay to rebuild all of these communities free of charge. More than likely the federal government is gonna cover the cost to provide aid and services like (food/water/medicine temporary shelter). For those who need it. That’s all.
Once the government deems these communities safe and reopens them to the public. I will be there and film them. Sadly because California has so many rules and regulations when it comes to building housing I don’t see any of these communities being rebuilt for many years. Maybe even a decade of delay. Which is why I believe many will take their money and businesses and leave the state all together.
i've read something about insurence compagnies who have pulled out months before this fire...because of the risk of fires in california so a lot of people didnt have any insurence at the moment....i sure hope that is not true....i live in a small city with a population of 70.000 and the damage of the fires is about 2-3 times the size of my town thats crazy and scary....all those people and animals its just heartbreaking!!! i hope you live in a safe area
@@Fiederelles What you read is very true. Many people all throughout LA were either not insured or they were underinsured. Please also remember these insurance companies have a track record of denying fire claims in ca. Just because you have insurance doesn't mean that your claim will be approved. Many people will have their claims denied for bogus reasons or because the homeowner will not be able to prove that they were in compliance with their insurance providers safety and fire prevention policies. This will result in many foreclosures.

Thanks Chris your to kind. I really enjoy listening to financial podcasts I find them so fascinating. Plus I know that there is nothing more seductive than a nice conversation about interest rates lol jkjk . Also I have thought about getting my real estate license before even if just to understand how the process works and or having the ability to represent myself when making my first home purchase. I could avoid having to pay a realtor the 3 percent buyers fee if I could represent myself. That alone would be worth it.
