The rerelease has brought me back to this absolutely AMAZING soundtrack. Ahh, such fond memories of flying on Ratha's back and racing this song, always ending just before I made it to the stone arch. It was amazing to do it again, and this time I made it there JUST before the song ends. I've truly come full circle, this game was my CHILDHOOD. I have over 400 hours sunk into the original!

Love how it has digeridoo calls like the Gore Magala theme, in fact when I first played Stories I thought that Gore Magala might be involved somehow just because of the similarities- the Frenzy drives monsters mad just like the Black Blight does. I figured either the monster behind it would be a relative or subspecies of the Magalas or that a Gore Magala would be wrongly blamed for the Black Blight. When I beat the story and found that wasn't the case, I at least hoped I might be able to fight one... no luck there either, sadly. I really hope that if there's ever a third Stories game that Gore is there, I want my xenomorph virus boi in that artstyle

This brings back memories. Got this game on release just before I started university Gonna get the remaster a few days before my final university exam. A lot has happened in that timeframe. A lot of terrible things even. But the terrible things have stopped and university will be over soon as well. What timing Can't wait to replay this gem of a game on my big monitor. I will most certainly be crying when this plays :D
