In der noch sehr jungen Sportart dreht sich alles darum in möglichst akrobatischer und atemberaubender Weise einen Ball zu jonglieren und somit verschiedenste Tricks zu performen. Der deutsche Meister Jannis Gasser beherrscht dies in Perfektion und zeichnet sich in der Szene seit vielen Jahren dadurch aus Grenzen zu überschreiten. Doch Freestyle hat für den 22 jährigen noch einen ganz anderen Stellenwert.
Die Eingeschränktheit und der geregelte Ablauf im normalen Fußball brachten ihn früh dazu kreativ zu sein und sich mit dem Ball auszuprobieren. Im Portrait spricht Jannis darüber wie er diese früh gelernte Selbständigkeit, fernab von jeglichen Normen und Regeln, heute auch auf ganz andere Bereiche seines Lebens anwenden kann.

Being hold back in regulations and rules while playing football is what made him start being more creative and play around with the ball. Furthermore, he talks about how he is able to transfer these early self-taught lessons without any limitations to other areas in his life.

Pretty much my biggest and best ever ´Freestyle video project´. Super proud how it came out. Clips are mainly training clips i collected over the summer and some clips from trips I did over the year. I know I didnt improve that much. Still sure the Pact video is my best one so far levelwise. But I reckon the clips arent to bad. Let me know what you guys think! Been on a cruise ship for 17 days. Visited hell a lot of beautiful places just as this! The north cape. The northernmost Point in europe.
