With those 2 set up the way you have them you get an ice fishing mansion.
Awesome review guys!!
Just ordered the monster lodge anything I need to worry about?
If you are camping it's not a bad thing to have it freeze in. The screws heat up and let go in high winds.
That clam looks nice. But definitely not a solo set up. I can set up and take down the otter myself though
✅ Promo`SM
Can you remove the windows in the clam x1200? Like the otter?
I hope not. I am not a fan of the velcro windows on my otter
I think honestly even though i am a otter fan you cant go wrong with either hub house. They will get you out camping on the ice with plenty of room for all your needs.
Wow! The X1200 is a beast….easily stay a week in that thing. 2 diesel heaters or a woodstove to heat that mansion.
Could definitely spend a week in it
Lucky
It’s pretty thin still but getting close
Yo buddy, run the ice will break 🙅🥶
Nope
One question is how do you think the 1200 will do with a big buddy heater to stay warm. Mostly just thinking about nights when it’s in the negatives.
I’d say it would do pretty good cause it has that extra insulation compared to the monster lodge and I had no problem keeping that warm with a big buddy even on the coldest night Mats will also help you out a ton keeping it warm and make sure you got the outside backed in real nice and if you really want it warm you can buy the clam fan light it’s about 30 bucks will help circulate the heat
Depends on how cold and how much wind. I have the x800 thermal, and on average, a big buddy heater is more than enough. When it's sub-zero and windy, it will struggle.
Cringe
Any further questions about either of them comment and I will see if I can answer them for you
