    Well I have noticed that in Most countries where u have chinese and Indian restaurants , they only hire their own people but that could just be because its easier and they dont have to deal with any issues with the majority culture, thats my take on that. its a crazy world, when u go into a place where u are the minority, u should try not looking for any issues and just give everyone the benefit of the doubt but also dont be surprised if it happens, no one gets it harder than Black people, like the example u gave earlier.Black people get it everywhere in the world literally. The irony is that Black Majority countries are the most welcoming counties, so welcome to planet earth i guess

    Is it any wonder? A lot of these scandinavian countries, as well as plenty of other european countries faced this ,, cultural enrichment '' and are tired of it, due to making labour cheaper(which affects the lowest classes- the majority of country) and impact on local tradition and culutre. Best bet is to stay in your own country, then you won't have to complain about discrimination, plain and simple.

    These are things that it difficult to believe if you grew up here, its not common knowledge the discrimination in work and rental market is close to 100% certain as 2nd gen. So it has to be learned the hard way. Of course the worst thing is the racial selection that is going on in the dating market and on the dating apps. Norway is for sure not a country that anyone should want to live as it has become the capital in the world for silent racism and white supremacist mindset that sadly every «ethnic Norwegian» as they call it inhabit. Dont let money and blonde hair/blue eyes make it seem lucrative because it is only accessible to those that fit the criteria and not immigrants. Its only 2nd place, discrimination, poverty, segregation, opression and crime that is the life that is chosen for you according to looks in Norway now a days regardless of how hard you try or how you behave, sadly. It is also the most feminist country in the world and the legal system is effectively working as a feminist racist gang more or less. People are being convicted innocently to burden a certain stereotype in terms of looks and you could risk being called the police on just for appearing in public.

    Been to USA several times. Mostly workrelated, and ONE holiday with my daughter and grandson. Workpart was OK. The vacation... A near fiasco, due to the dirty hotel, which we left after one night, the motel close to my friend was way better, and clean! Still, we used it just to sleep, the rest of the days (2 weeks), was driving around the area. Driving through Manhattan twice.... never again. My friend, born and bred New-Yorker have just driven there thrice. We had extra insurance for this trip, in case we needed medical help.

    Thanks for this video. In from Lithuania and our political leaders and high profile public faces tend to spout america great propaganda using nr1 economy and military power as an example. This actually scared me since I realized that majority of Lithuanians have no clue how USA looks from the inside, there's no coverage on USA in that light. What's scary that these politicians can take Lithuania on the same neoliberal path that USA is. Which means destruction of many societal goods. So I've been brewing idea of launching channel to shine some light on USA , but naturally it would be negative and given informational war with russian propaganda many could think that I'm russian plant , since USA is quite horrible in some cases like those streets of drug addicts... So I was looking for an angle and your video gave me one. In some of these lists we rank higher then USA already, on top of that Lithuanian youth apparently happiest in Europe this year, contrast that to USA school shootings and the facts that they have to practice what to do in case of shooting in school, I think I have a case here to work on, just pure statistics. We might not be number one but we're already better then USA and maybe one day we will be on the list sealing places for happiest country.

    Those who really don't want to do conscription usually won't be taken into the military, if you're conscripted and taken in you can have a talk to a military doctor or priest and you're usually dismissed from service. However I'd really recommend conscription to all who gets drafted, it shows you a new side of yourself and shows you a new side of life.

They may behave very kind to your face but behind the walls, you can't even imagine. One thing I learnt from travelling the world. The western society never truly civilized as they mean it. It might look prosperious when you travel, advanced and so on but it is just how it looks. Yes, every society is xenophobic, racist as this is human nature but if you call yourself advanced and educated and still capable of doing it, you are just a clown.

    If just not having a Norwegian last name is a problem, the situation is not that complicated, it just shows how prejudices are just so much more deeply rooted. You should be related to a norwegian, or even have some Norwegian blood in a way..

    • @Zt41L33
      @Zt41L33 5 місяців тому

      Yes/no. It's not really about "blood" or who your grandparents were, and more that Norway is a very conformative society, with pretty strict social expectations and Norwegian as a working language. How that ends up as discrimination (and it does) is in the worry that someone won't fit in a working environment or conform to standard renter behaviour in an apartment. However, the job application is far easier in larger organisations (public or private), so that about half my colleagues are non-ethnic Norwegians. Renting apartments is probably far easier in the larger cities, simply because they are far more diverse to begin with.
