​@@Buddyguy1988invasions are the best mechanic ever designed. though er invasions are certainly unbalanced af, dark souls was no different. invaders thrive in the chaos anyway too so i dont get the hate. there are still so many tools not utilized yet... so... gonna try that lucerne later😊

Long story short, I’m simply a fan of the traditional/accurate medieval look of this weapon. It does get good strength scaling on heavy infusion, but I don’t notice too much of a difference between banished knights halberd. Plus, banished has better reach. Overall, either Night rider glaive or commanders standard are the best options for strength builds.

I love the big spike on this halberd, it looks brutal to get impaled by that

I’ve actually got a video on that same set up. It’s called “A new era has come” and was put out 6 months ago. I agree, it’s an absolute monster of a set-up.

Thank you! It does well on a cold infusion, and the frost build-up is pretty nuts. I plan to make a video on the Grossmesser soon, but that'll be on my strength build.

Focusing on one stat is always a safe bet, especially if you've got the weapons/spells narrowed down more. This build required more of a spread but thankfully that didn't sacrifice too much damage in the process. Just like you said, I wanted OPTIONS.

Also saw a claymore guy going double slash into heavy thrust. Very nice.

Personally I've had the most fun at 170-180; a lot of build diversity and no 1-taps@@Lunchas

125-135 appears to be the general consensus. Dark souls 3 leaned heavily towards 125.

@@Razz150 named versions do more damage but cost more fp, rather good trade since named glintstone can one-shot on full cast. Just make it a habit to equip named and it will all come together in a memory flash.
