No, Hayla is a moniker for the vocalist. I believe they’re Hayley Philippa Williams, but the Alias is pretty anonymous outside of looking through who worked on the song. Hayley is the only name that made sense to me.

Thanks for taking a listen regardless! Lol yeah the vocals sound off! But that’s kind of my goal with this entire channel project. Dissonance in both key and tempo can bring light completely different perspectives in a song. Lol. Not a wholly original approach on my part. But I did quite a bit more than simply slow the tempo as well. (This is mostly for other readers who might be interested in my process). I used AI to isolate the vocals, bass-line, and the rest of the instrumental, then I used Audacity to add layers of filters to get a softer bass and intro. I also duplicated the vocal layer, then changed the pitch even more on the second vocals and sprinkled them in for even more subtle distortion on certain phrases.

Why can’t slowed and reverb be more of a thing?
For the record this track was only slowed by %8.75 I typically do %15 to %20. I added a layer of isolated accapella that was then lowered an octave before being slowed and reverbed. I also added a low pass filter to the intro as I do with most of my edits.
