    Just got the WM 425 'Plus' today. When I looked at your 70's/80's model. I thought it was from a different planet!! The new one is flimsy, and the metal is thin. It wobbles..(a bit) . When the wood is clamped, the clamp adjusters wobble?? So much I could harp on about. It's just darn horrible that the company merged with Stanley just to save a few lousy pence. I hope B&D's company executives see this video and it humiliates their manufacturing 'pride'.

    Very good review❤ Just saw one on Marketplace to far for pickup $40.00. Ill be looking. Liked that you conpaird the metal fram and welds!! Not worried about a piece of wood. Ill be hunting one. I was originally looking at making one from running machine pars but at $40 and more compact... I always thought these looked flimsyMy bad!! Great review!

      I got the camera with the printer on anycubics website during launch. But sadly looks like they are scarce so my guess is checking their website, Amazon, or sadly eBay will be your best options. Sometimes either temu, wish, or Alibaba will have remaining stock from companies for cheap but orders can take weeks to arrive

    I fit ski boots and running shoes for about 5 years. Your version here reminded me of it. There is something boot manufacturers would do to their toel/heel plates of pre-molding the heel strike and toe off curves. This is wear that happened naturally from walking, but it came like that from the factory. Those are also the areas you see the most wear on shoes. Outside heel strike leading to inside toe off. Now a ski boot's primary function isn't walking, but it does have the clip-clop stiffness of that base you have. In some running shoes, manufacturers would add wedges of firm gel to the outside heel. This was preferred over pure foam in that it didn't breakdown almost at all. I would think these two ideas could married to get a more walkable foot that still has some resistance for standing. The commercial iterations for these stilts I've seen look to be very focused on walking - having a noticeable rocker profile. These stilts also have the common complaint of not being comfortable to stand in. A passing thought, that's all.

    Thank you for taking time to share your thoughts. I have purchased 2 and also bowden tube thingies. Living in Florida humidity is high and it does not help any that I also have massive amounts of aquariums so having something like this will benefit me tremendously. I will be airing on side of caution and apply all your recommendations.

    If a person uses it on it's side, you can put a solid thin board to make the bottom of the shelf solid so things slide in and out smoothly. Real nice crate! Thank you for the assembly demonstration🙂.

    The problem with America not making anything anymore and American jobs leaving is not government. It's us refusing to pay more for something worth having and going to harbor freight to buy a $13 hat het made by sweatshop labor.

    I got one of these saws about 10 days ago through Lowe's. Ran into a problem. I have checked all the major retailers, Lowe's, Home Depot, Menards, True Value, Ace Hardware. No retailer stocks a 72 inch blade for this saw. Of course it can be ordered but that doesn’t help if you break a blade. Can’t just go pick one up and your project is delayed for at least several days. Has anyone found a solution to this? Thanks. The window for returning this saw will be closed in a couple of weeks. I prefer to keep it but not if blades are going to be this difficult to find.

    I've been having an issue recently where the printer keeps going into recovery mid print, is this an error you faced too and if so do you know how to fix it?

    • @Lhosal
      @Lhosal 2 місяці тому

      I was having this issue, idk if this applies to you, but my printer came with a 3d printed filament feeder that I just brushed off. It turns out it was important and filament feeding incorrectly ran out my filament sensor and it would randomly stop and continue, or the z axis would have a bad layer. The feeder alignment fits to the left of the z axis roller behind where your filament feed motor is, maybe this will help someone cause this went way over my head and ruined a few prints for me lol 😂.

    Found this video looking for one of these tutorials from under 6-7yrs ago and love the end result of this and you going through the troubleshooting at the beginning with your first go at this project. Also thanks for explaining why you chose steel over aluminum rods as an older tutorial similar to this one said aluminium and I don't weigh much more then 100lb but I wanna make a pair of these for a full costume and that will definitely bump the weight up, so better safe then sorry always ^^' Also, if ya still read these comments, please let me know if you have an eta for any new video on these projects that's not a timelapse, I can probably slow down the playback speed to help a bit but I'm afraid that make make the building section of the video pretty choppy and I'd love to try your modified method after doing this twice and finding a way that feels right to you without stuff like extra knee padding (though I plan on adding just as an in case measure for longer useage time) so thanks for this and thanks for your time, this was informative

    I'm not familiar with the collapsible baskets, but I was wondering if your display would still work, if the baskets were zip tied in an UPRIGHT position. Then you could put your key rings inside it, without them falling out, and you could just pick it up when you are done. Great idea, thanks for sharing💡

    When you actually research the treatment of pallets you will find the even the HT treated pallets can also of received a MB treatment. When an inspection of a container is done and there are signs of critters they will treat every thing in the container with the MB treatment this means your HT labeled pallets, the good thing is that the chemical treatment dissipates when exposed to air. MB pallets are no more dangerous than HT pallets. The MB pallets are extremely rare though.You should properly mill all pallet wood to remove the exterior sanding planing ext to remove all the filth that can get onto them while in use. Please do more research than UA-cam.
