None of these issues should be present on a brand new car, no matter what the price is. I hope Ford takes care of them.

I got mine a few weeks ago. I also have the gaps on the rear spoiler that I just noticed the other day. However also keep an eye on your phone charger. Mine stopped working then started working but it was no longer showing up in the notification area on the right side of the center screen. Took it to the dealer and all they said was Ford was aware of it and said they would let me know if and when there was a fix but there was nothing they could do. (It worked fine two weeks ago when I brought it home🤷‍♂️) and technically it works but the icon in the notification section no longer shows. Also for some reason when the vehicle sits after driving it and locking it. Sometimes it resets the dash and I lose 3 of the pages I added to the instrument cluster. I lose driving assistant page, my trip 2 page and my temperature page. The dealer also said they could not reproduce it yet it happens almost every other day and I told them all they have to do is lock the car and wait like 10-15 minuets. Yet they are too busy to have someone sit in it and wait so they say they could not reproduce it. Funny thing was when they told me my car was ready it was reset just like I told them but I could not tell if the mechanic reset something or not so I’m forced to wait and see if something worse happens. Also it’s more of an annoyance at this point as all I have to do is re-check the pages. Other than those issues everything else seems ok but ya the QC could be better.

Lets just say what they really are. They look good but they are crap. Quality is nothing to Ford. V6 400 Hp is a joke when you have the best being a Platinum having standard a 4 cylinder and ST is a V6. I mean, what the hell. The look and wheels are beautiful but the rest is nothing. Don't waist your money on these. Maybe 2026 will be better but these ECO Boost with Turbos is just a bad deal all the way around. Don't buy these. Let Ford eat them for what they have caused with this wreck.

Been using exclusively 87 in my '20 ST for a year and a half until last week. Started underboosting bad, trans shifting strange. Been fueling with 93, not only has it fixed this, but it is now a rocket compared to 87 (spool faster on launch, powerband hits harder).

I'm trying not to laugh at your video, but come on it's a mass produced Ford Explorer ST....Plus, I have owned quite a few newer Ford's and their Quality Control just like GM and Dodge have went down big time ever since covid-19.... I have a 2023 Ford Mustang Mach 1 and it definitely had some fit and finish issues, but I just dealt with it and moved on, because I surely do not want a tech at a dealership tearing my brand new vehicle all to hell....Just my two cents.

You are not wrong about the issues. BUT, it's a Ford Explorer and it will never be perfect. You'd probably be better off taking it to a good detailer and moving on - with the exception of the sunshade being adjusted. I can assure you that you are opening up a 10 gallon can of aggravation letting the dealership mess with anything in this video. Also, don't take delivery next time until it's right.

Got my 25 ST over a month ago. I don’t have any exterior issues at all. Same vapor blue color no black roof. Sunroof shade gap is exactly the same. It has an issue near the passenger front window with the headliner, so it’s going back for both issues. Open the hood and see what color it is in the engine bay mine is white 🥴

Dealership is going to destroy that truck completely if they change the roof rails and everything else!!! Like you i had a 2021, and bought a silver 2023 and quality of assembly is @95% i love it! You have to Cobb tune it because i tell you are missing on a lot of power and great transmission tunning….

E15 here because it's available @ almost every gas station in Iowa and cheaper. I also don't notice any decrease in mileage or performance.

I work right by the factory. The stuff that goes on in that place is crazy. This is from people who use to work there. They are constantly trailering these suv's back and forth between lots. Doesn't surprise me that they are getting scratched up. Also, the cars in the lots are being broken into on a regular basis to steal the seats. No security what so ever.

Why did you buy this vehicle? Did you not look it over before signing the contract?

I have been buying cars for over 20 years and bought two first year model cars during that time. Different manufacturers. ~13 years apart. Never again. ALWAYS skip the first model year of a new vehicle. Lesson learned I guess! Good luck with the fixes.

I complained about my (brand new 2023) sunroof having a gap and basically got told well that’s too bad. Same dealer was confused why I wanted an oil change at 1k, especially since it had been sitting on the lot for 1+yr. Kinda lazy and they’re too “busy” to fix problems. Wouldn’t even check my trans level, didn’t want to break seal unless I was having problems.

My 2020 ST got Totaled i wanted to get a 2025 but not feeling the front so i went with a Volvo XC90 ohh boy what a difference in quality, just lacks power but thats obvious its a 2.0 V4 procharged luxury family SUV, but i love the mpg on it 😂

You'd think after 5 years Ford would get their shit together on their quality control, the unions make it hard to fire under performing employees so you have shit bag employees who don't care. That's why we aren't going to trade our 2020 ST and I'm about to leave Ford for good.
