Hey, I really know what you mean, Rayman M/Arena was it for me too. I played it up and down, alone, with or against my brother. Usually people would prototype first, concept and then flash out the aesthetics at the end of development, but there is the given formula right in front of us (Rayman M), so for sure it's gonna be a banger. So we start at the very beginning: The Menu. Still working on it in this exact moment. It took a lot more than probably needed time and a handful of attempts to remaster the Menu Level itself only and also keep the classic feeling. And I agree with you so much, Ubisoft is missing out, the game was ahead of it's time, and it's so fulfilling and heart-ripping to work with the original textures, character models, sound effects and all the other assets of the original game, it feels like I am reviving long forgotten puppets and following the pathtraces of the backthen Rayman creators more than 20 years ago, in the golden 3D Rayman Era. Thank you for your wholesome and energizing comment(s), I really appreciate it.

candidate for game of the year 2023. 9€ on steam i love it. I don't know many games to play these days, except maybe Rayman, LoL, Minecraft.... but this Game is a diamond, a trophy. Definitely recommendable, having so many ridiculus moments every time I play it with my friends :D MERRY CHRISTMAS GIGADEM!!!

I know what you mean. I played Rayman M first, then Rayman 3, then Rayman 2, then Rabbids released, and the 3D Era of Rayman ended (too early) Recently I dug up a lot of stuff from my childhood and discovered there was "Rayman" and "Henchman" written all over my school books, lol

Thanks for your kind words, that's how I feel about it aswell, and that's why it has to be done. The new Arenas are not finished of course, a lot can change, but as all of the landscapes and textures are from the same golden era of Rayman Games, it blends in together perfectly, UbiSoft just missed out in this timeline hehe. It really seems what lies ahead always was inevitable :D

Hey yeah Globette will be a palette swap for Globox. Freeze projectiles in races will come, but in a different way than it was in Rayman Rush

Yes and even Robo Pirate Ships through wormhole and lots of Globbers through wormholes to Globettes wormhole, wait what?

I'm hoping the characters will have their own strengths and weaknesses, if that was the case then Clark would have a big hitbox but more hp than the others, for instance.

Thank you so much! Yea so Clarks and hitbox could be a problem We have different solutions 1. his arms are no hitbox at all 2. he might have 6 hp Also imagine him ledgegrabbing in Rise and Shrine. We will have another animation for him if the ledge he is trying to grab is already at his body height. Nice thoughts!

@@Shiftoob And as Shiftoob mentions, "strengths and weaknesses" can be balanced. Already it makes more sense that characters have 1 ability each, which alters their playstyle even more and can compensate for weaknesses.

It's kind of an update, as Forgotten Dungeon has a new look. To actually install it to your game, you need Rayman Control Panel.

But they deserve more love aswell

I was reading it in the morning and had to think for a while about your offer aswell which I would gladly accept, but let me answer your questions first. Yes, that's what we are doing, although I don't know if we can say "All" existing music, we are implementing existing Rayman Soundtrack and Soundeffects (from older and later Rayman titles) into the Rayman M soundtrack infrastructure with new content. As you might have already thought about it, there is Razoffs Theme ~Let The Hunt Begin~ which will probably be transformed into his Race Theme. Reflux audio has a lot of potential, my fav song of him ~The Knaaren Warrior~, potentially also, Rayman 3 soundtrack (#129-#143) There are some Battle Arenas from Rayman 3 and other places in the making. Fairy Council, Knaaren Arena, Rabbid Colosseum, Lande Of Livid Dead, and more concept pieces. And there are the parts that you mentioned where we might need to fill in new to the soundtrack. I would be happy to work together with you for the game audio. Is there any way we can communicate directly? Like, discord?
