What's good everyone! I am Crosstown Xpress, formerly known as R32 G Crosstown Train. I am a train enthusiast from New York City. I am currently a student at City College of New York as well, and I make Subway videos from New York City, though I will some day get videos from other Subway Systems and Rail Systems across the world... eventually. NYC Subway: Quick Action At Southbound Church Ave - Brighton Pre-Construction
Due to construction for new elevators at Church Avenue on the Brighton (B/Q) Lines, the platforms will be shut down in phases to allow for uninterrupted access to allow construction to proceed as quick as possible. The first phase sees the shut down of the southbound platform, while the second phase starting in the Fall/Autumn will see the shut down of the northbound platform. B Train Brighton Express service is suspended during both phases between Prospect Park and Kings Highway due to the need for access above the express tracks at this station; B Trains will run local between both points until 2025. Does any of this help the G train get back to Forest Hills/Jamaica?
Maybe in the unseen future, but probably not anytime soon. G service restoration on QBL requires more than just signal upgrades, and with the M running, full time service is definitely not happening
@@CrosstownXpress What would be so terrible about having the M on QBL during rush hours and having the G out there the rest of the time? I absolutely hate having to go to Forest Hills either through Manhattan or that absolutely worthless transfer at Court Square.
What is the next phase ? What stations do they close ?
For phase 3, they'll reopen the section from Court Square to Bedford-Nostrand, then shut down G service from there to Church Ave. Classon Ave, Clinton-Washington Aves, and Fulton St will be shut down fully. Hoyt-Schermerhorn will be open for A/C service, while stations between Bergen St and Church Ave will be open for F service only

Always wanted to ride it since it was introduced and try to take it as an alternate route to connect with Hudson-Bergen Light Rail and then PATH into Manhattan, but it only runs during rush hour, and my work shifts are evening to late nights. Nowadays I work three out of my four shifts from home anyway, and I am a late rise on my days off. Maybe one day!

The B15 is available at Flushing Ave (J/M), Kingston-Throop Aves (C), Sutter Ave-Rutland Rd (3), and New Lots Ave stations on both the 3 and L Lines

Most likely not by then, it's still sidelined (OOS) until further notice. This video's from a few weeks ago before it got pulled from service

It got pulled from service 3 weeks ago, and all test trains sidelined the same day, cause stated were major issues with the electrical and propulsion systems (which failed and was pulled from service after it lost power at 207th St, majorly delaying A service for about 3 hours). If it comes back soon, it could finish the 30 Day by the end of June, but with no word on when it will return, we just gotta wait and see
