This is going to be random stuff I like to do. But probably mainly about making things (electronics, woodwork, metalwork) and getting out into the bush. But I also found I like reading poetry so I might do a bit of that. And things I can't yet imagine. Anyway, maybe the things I do and the way I do them could be helpful to people, or at least entertaining.
I'm all about self improvement and moving past my fears and prejudices.
Maybe there'll be feedback I can use, if I'm brave enough to allow it.
At the point I write this I am just at the base of the learning curve, lets see how that turns out.

Suspension noise in Honda Accord Euro , searching for the source with a GoPro
This is a video of the suspension (lhr) taken with a gopro clamped to the lower control arm. My car has some clunk in the suspension (I think suspension). It seems to occur at low speed when I suddenly take my foot of the accelerator. I don't think it's the drive train.
I don't think this video has been conclusive, perhaps someone out there can give a suggestion.
I have another experiment that I hope to try on the weekend that might give me a better chance of finding the issue.

Mokose C100 Microscope

Using a Mokose C100 camera as a microscope. I am using an old Samsung TV as a display, I think this is better than the tiny screens that come with the microscopes sold as whole systems. Using LTSpice to simulate my current solution to the inrush problems. Seems almost ok. Not sure if there's simulation errors, (getting a 12Amp spike for certain timings).

But then I forgot how much filter capacitance I needed and then I saw in the LTSpice simulation how much inrush current there would be one I added enough capacitance. In this video I show how I investigate a problem with the power supply, I look into why I regulators weren't working for a 2A load and I work out the fix. Almost final assembly time. I make the wiring neat and put in more safety measures for the 240v parts. I also confirm that the supply is mostly working. Hi, Did you get the capacitors. mine is the same problem, bridge is out of board but this continues resseting.

Thank you very much for this Information - sitting in Germany and just revived my mu80 to play old midi compositions ... I bought it because it aditionally has 2 analog mic/guit Input channels to add effects. I controlled it by Steinberg Cubase 3.x Score Software that still runs on a Win 2000 Computer. Yamaha recommends "authorized Yamaha Personel" for this, but i am shure they dont do it for an aceptable price. First I thought to keep a new 3 Volt parallel to enshure storage data but anyway I had most of the data sent by the midi file SysEx thing. Still thinking about this. I might just cut out the old battery and leave the socket in, just solder the new battery in place? Just find out what type is wicht 24 mm diameter.
