@ its actually legit cos when you boil water it turns into gas but how do they really work it doesnt have much pressure

I used the same design as a V engine. If you look up "LEGO V-Twin Vacuum Engine," it's that same design

@@kia4958 no, I'm not the best at tutorials, and besides, these are all extremely generic designs. If you just look up "1 cyl SVS vacuum engine" there are tons of tutorials

So I had to map all the controls to different buttons. So although I had 3 total controllers, each one used a different button. The pedals used the triggers (and one joystick), the steering wheel used the left joystick, and the turn signal used the d-pad. I also used the keyboard too

It's pretty balanced, especially compared to most vacuum engines. It's a pretty light piston so it doesn't shake itself to death like the vacuum engines can

I already fixed the main issues with it in the next two videos of this series. However, it turns out the vacuum was the problem, not enough suction to run it

"reciprocating" just means there is a piston that moves up and down within the engine. "4 stroke" refers to the method of fuel and power delivery. So for example, both a V8 and a steam engine from the 1800's are reciprocating engines, but only the V8 is a 4 stroke. I hope that makes some sense 😊

@ ah i got confused because people kept calling Titanics engines reciprocating engines which they are but i guess they dont have a specific name so i thought that reciprocating engines were massive steam engines or something but anyways thanks for clearing up my confusion. Edit: also if you know a proper name for Titanics massive reciprocating engines please tell me.

The titanic's engines are usually known as "triple expansion" steam engines, just letting you know 😊
