As a mobile communications installer, it’s easier to pull the door gasket out of the way
I believe its the nissan gtr one
Next time no need out screw...
Thank you so much, this is going to make doing this a snap! (or a slide slightly up, as it were)
Thank you. The video was informational and straightforward without all the rambling you made the job for me easy
Glad it was helpful!
I had the same experience. The correct filter I found for my 2012 NV2500 V8 was actually the NV3500. The books and computer listing was incorrect. Also, ironically my filter was missing too!! The job is easy, took more time to get the correct filter than it took to actually make the swap
Glad it helped you!
Kool and thanks - Who was the camera operator ?
My daughter 🙂
@@jamesoconnoriii8202 Stellar performance - Thanks for responding - Take care sport 😺
Thank you so much!! I work at a shop and all my references pointed to the dual cabin air filter, watched 15 videos before tthus is one was finally able to assist our customer! Thank you so much for providing a part number!
Glad it helped!
My 2019 came without a filter too and the motor died at 40k miles full of dirt and leaves. Under warranty. Dealer charged me for the filter though.
I have a no 3500 sl does my van have cabin filter also
What a stupid design! So many others have an access panel behind the glove box door. Then all you have to do is press the 2 sides of the box together and it pops down to access the door.
I’m in agreement with your comment on the design. Maybe designers should be required to remove and reinstall components for designs they were responsible for.
This number is for the Ecogard brand but for example the Fram brand is CF10743 and it is perfect
Thanks! Big help, easy job! I also got the wrong filter. Suggest removing it first and ordering from the part number on the side
Could you talk louder please, my tablet doesn't pick up your voice, but if the volume is too loud any body can turn it down thankyou . Oh ya good video otherwise,
I can hear him just fine.
I’ll be doing this on my dad’s 2012 NV 2500 in the spring lol. I’m so excited to be honest. This video makes it look super easy!
You didn't mention what direction the arrows go when installing the filter...
Down toward the blower motor.
The go as the arrows show.
@@reggiebdog which means what? Up or down?
I pointed the arrow air flow indicator down. I ll check the flow and see if I'm getting proper vent flow. If not... Guess I'll need to flip it around. I'll reply back here once I do check it.
The air flow direction arrow Down works fine in my NV. Air blows strong through the vents so I'm assuming that I put it in the correct direction. I believe the intake for the blower comes from the top
Thx for sharing it with filter number, that helped alot.
Advanced auto sold me one that was to small. Fram said that a 2019 does not have a serviceable c.a.f. and mine did not have one. I spent $20 bucks on a fram for an older nv and it was too big
Even I could do this. Thanks for the demo.
Thanks for the great video really helpful especially the right side corner really hard to get back in
Thank you for sharing. My NV1500 didn't have one either, went through the same problem of being sold the wrong filter by Autozone.
Cool
That crazy, when you go auto parts store they will sell you completely wrong filter. Even amazon says its the wrong one
I initially bought the cabin filter from the auto parts store that was supposed to fit the vehicle and had to return it. The Ecogard XC25870 cabin filter fits perfectly.
