funny thing is that in the manga we find out towards the end that that Igris is only a small fraction and copy of the real Igris. The last shadow monarch wanted Igris to test people to find the next shadow monarch and so Igris created a copy of himself with a fraction of his power. When Sung "tamed" Igris in the end that was the true Igris and his real power. So we have yet to see what Igris can really do.

It's surprising more people don't recognize him; since the man will apparently agree to perform any role you put in front of him, he's bound to have been in at least SOMETHING you've seen no matter what kind of stuff you're into.
