The 6th generation Hyundai Sonata was the turning point for Hyundai and Kia
Переглядів 446Рік тому
The engine makes 163 horsepower and 166 pounds of torque. I believe I referred this car as the fourth generation Sonata, I stand corrected. It’s the 6th generation and it was in production from 2009-2014. Thanks for watching!

I just got a 2011 sonata, the interior also cracked as yours😂
I just picked up a '02 Corolla S to commute, not many videos on this chassis.
What I mean is I would look around more for a better truck to make a project out of, but a beater as in you will only be buying used tires then yeah the s10 is a perfect beater.
Just be careful not to get all attached to it, they are mean and nasty and selfish, they nickel and dime you to death and I mean to the point when you are in a hole and stuck with it, yes there is lemon laws but that law only applies to more current models and the new 2024 and 2025 models.
hondas the most impressive out of everything
I think he still has it
It’s the beta II engine
I thought it was 138 hp
This is my kind of car. As long as it can get me to and from work without too much fuss.
My 2017 V6 Accord is at 300,000 miles and drives and looks like new. Only repair I ever needed was a speed sensor for the left-rear wheel. $120 parts and labor. Hope it lasts another 200k before I even consider a new car
My favorite pickup truck
I have had 2 different 09 elantras one had temp gauge 1 didn't, so they must have changed mid year. As for the car itself mine had 325000 km on it It's been really reliable, and fuel economyi sgreat B
A second gen Prius can be a fun experience. I was also surprised when I got mine. Most enjoyable vehicle I have ever owned.
Best cars ever made
We still drive two of these. 98 5speed and 99 auto, they work great for their age. Just had the 3speed auto in my 99
I've got an 89 with 76 k
For sale?
Sorry not black but burgundy
@user-xz1vc8lh6o even better these cars are so rare and every time you see them on the market they're either garage kept and being sold for nearly 20k or barley hanging on to life in someone's driveway with a jungle grown on them
@@thouken5777 what money

bro did you put it in Sport mode
Just casually running the neighborhood stop sign at 10:19 😂
Excellent review and thank you for sharing your experience ❗️
This GEN looks like a Jetta. I like the 10th Gen slightly better, but each is each own.
I do believe there were only 2000 black on black Reatta's made I could be wrong but check it out and see could be the first year you just don't see black Reattas
fix that squeak, it's so easy - wrap the rear window striker with gaffe tape, it'll be quiet as can be after that!
"Anyway on the bigger and better things" after the lack of a grab handle thing, which is a genuine point. Nice review, thank you.
hello bro how many liter fuel take for 100 km in the city thank you
These trucks are awesome!
Whyd you skip that Chevy Spark behind your trusty shit box as well as that other car I saw in your driveway?I could not tell what kind of car it was though
Probably the Chevy Spark was not there’s
4ap
I remember renting a fiesta...........it was quiet, light steering, quick..........if they could have designed a wet DCT, instead of dry DCT, probably would last much longer. Seems in 2016, they started making better DCTs for these cars
This is a Really nice walkthrough I like the s10 blazer and your presentation
In Costa Rica we have this car in 5 speed transmission wih automatic A/C and temperature gauge.
Can’t decide to get this or a 24 mustang gt 😅
How much
This is a great first car to drive, same as a same year civic.
Speaking of wheel covers i lost half of mine
HHR's are great little cars. I totally forgot your dad had one of those.
Did you get one for yourself yet?
There is a hatchback and this has gloss black rims on a si ?
Better than 35mpg on freeway. I get 40+ on the freeway. 43mpgs combined. I have 93 oct in my area and a hondata reflash
Thanks for the input looking forward to pick up my 2023 SI in four weeks also I do agree aftermarket part can make it fast and powerful able to run with GTI and WRX
My favorite rental vehicle. It’s so easy to drive I choose it when it’s available. Would be a bit worried about owning it because I’d wonder about long-term reliability.
I had a 2021 Nissan Rogue (lease) that I loved. The dash looked almost identical to this Pathfinder. Great cars!
Great review! Just subscribed. I had a 2013 Sonata. Loved it! Now I have a 2018 Sonata that I love also. Though I feel it is more boring than this style.
Hi, did you experience some oil dilituon or leaks ? thank you
nice reveiw no hp
I was debating between Si or hatchback Sports touring with manual. I ended up with hatchback top trim. The seats is not comfortable at all for me in Si, and it’s a sedan! Other downsides for me is dealer’s markup for 5000!!!!!!! I got manual hatchback top trim with 800 markup, no regrets. I love Si, but I ask myself, how many times do I throw it into corners every day? Do I race all the time? No, the hatchback has more than enough control for every day driving with all features I want and manual fun.
Seems like you're still missing out on the Si. Sell your Hatchback and get it
This si is starting to grow on me. I was actually going for a 9th or 10th gen but i honestly might get this one! Great video!👍
9th or 11th I’d say 9th still got the hand e brake lol
@Jaycc_831 facts!! I actually made up my mind now and definitely going with a 9th gen! Personally I feel like it's the best looking si. Which one is your personal favorite?🤔
My car 2009 impreza has the missing temp gauge too. But it's still good to drive.
it like those no brand food items from the 80s that just say what it is remove the hyundai logos and just slap a sticker that says car
Honda could have at least put a coolant temp gage in cluster, instead of a hot and cold light.
The Mirage has a CVT and on top of that a 2 speed automatic planetary gear(box). So, if you will a low gearing and a high gearing. You start in low and the small hesitation you feel is when the planetary gearbox switches to high gear. At that moment the transmission computer tells the engine computer to take back some power to spare the dry clutch. The Mirage has (as all CVT's with a belt) dry clutches to engage reverse and in this case also high/low gear. The main "clutch" is a traditional torque converter. Not bad for such a cheap car! The CVT also has a cooler (Nissan uses the same CVT with no cooler and higher power input). The low torque and power of the engine in the Mirage combined with low weight and the extra cooler for the CVT makes this CVT far more reliable than in the Nissans where they are also used, provided you religiously change the CVT fluid on time and do not have a very spirited driving style. The Mirage engine also has a balancer rod that turns twice the speed of the crankshaft to limit vibrations. Only much more expensive cars have that (it is a Mitsubishi invention).
