My Thoughts
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sad betta fish gets a new home!
I did not want a high maintenance tank so I picked the low-tech method.
Starting the project was hectic but, after all the prep work, it's been so easy.
It seems to be working well; I haven't changed the water in months.
The plants filter the water and the heater keeps the water cozy for the betta.
I heard bettas get hurt by sharp decor, so I tried to make all the tank things either soft or round. I found a nice coconut at a supermarket, cut out a big hole, scooped out the meat, and sanded the edges. Afterwards, I boiled it to release its excess tannins and air.
I hope Buu is happy.
Yeah, he's named after the DBZ character with the purple cape. Not the best character, but I liked the cape.

Orchid Blooming Timelapse

After a strange temperature drop, my orchid decided to bloom, so I filmed. Little did I know it would take its sweet time. And once it finished blooming, I decided to put it in a kokedama (moss ball). And then it decided to lose a flower after a fall. And that's about it.
A Day Trip to Santa Cruz Island in Summer
Переглядів 1745 років тому
Spent a day in the Summer exploring Santa Cruz Island, which is one of the main 8 Channel Islands. These islands are undeveloped and reserved for conservation efforts and research, but tourists come to camp, hike, kayak, snorkel, and probably other things. Activities are seasonal. Come in Spring for the wildflowers and Summer for whale watching and aquatic fun (which we did not do... guess we'v...

Parrotfish eat dead coral and the alga that live on coral. They poop the white sand that make Hawaiian beaches the way they are. Many photo and filming credits to Timberjack!!

plants stress out when you pull them from the dirt while trying to form good roots as well is what I have heard.
Great content TYSM for sharing your video's idk 🤷♂️ but I really enjoy your voice while you narrate these videos. Very comforting for some reason. (maybe because you sound like my late sister, who knows lol)
I ordered Pho last night. Runs to the trash can to try to propagate the last bite of basil 😂
So it doesn't need any ground roots and we can just chop the ground Roots off or is it going to die if I chop the ground root off? Or how about chop off the ground root and leave only 2 ft of it remaining will it survive?
The laziest way is get a punnet of rotten strawberries mash and mix into potting mix consistency 1:1 ratio then put under established plants base forget about it check in a month I forgot mine which I did 1 month ago now I have strawberry seedlings
How do slow the dry. I put damp cloth . Still cracked and I dunno
I did mine the lazy way, using stems from the supermarket. I got great root growth. Then, I put three of them in a pot, and two died within a week -- I took them out and the beautiful robust roots had rotted. Argh! It's my first time, so I really don't know what I did wrong.
So cheap! In australia that much would cost 30 dollars!!!
In what kind of soil should I plant those rooting Thai basil stems?
What happens after this video? I'm very interested. Thank you for this and your time. Blessings.
Im your 1k subb congratulations
Hi! Did your daikon ever get a bulb?
Eh I just threw a strawberry outside because it was moldy and I have lots of plants now

ayyy!!! Welcome back!
Wow. Thanks. Little late for strawberries but, never too late to grow a plant!
Lol that's awesome, I recognize your voice! Hey got any grapes?
Do a update
look at the url ua-cam.com/video/bOCCuntb7pM/v-deo.html
Did all the Ways myself but been about 14-16 days. I got roots from the store bought ones. However the roots kinda spurted out from the mid section of the stem. Not the tip. The tip actually became really hard instead of rooting or atleast soggy soft. Really strange. I got the root....so I am gonna put in soil now and see what happens.
You can let the flowers come into blossom ,collect the seeds and start over

From Beginner why are you saying ua-cam.com/video/kMgV20E27Bk/v-deo.html
What type of sunlight are we looking at?
Amazing!!
Yayyyyyyyy
Soil not dirt
Similar to most root crops, they are biennial That is, they take two years to produce seed. The first year they spend storing food energy in the root, then using that energy to grow a large plant with flowers. usually those flowers are very early compared to a lot of other plants. All you really needed to change was your goal...more diakon radish seed. Keep on experimenting. You done good!
I came to this video with the goal of doing exactly this so that I can both eat and save seed from my biggest and best daikon. This comment is very helpful.
lost 2 bags full of Thai basil. The stems rotted on all. The basil seemed healthy to start but took a quick turn for the worst.
Did you end up getting any seeds from the blossoms? That’s the plant going to seed so you should have let it go to seed and keep them to grow more next season.
I don't know how or what I'm missing, but I've done exactly the same and haven't seen any roots develop
JT probably your climate
What climate does it need?
My climate?
JT hot and humid
But if you go with the smart way, you get to enjoy the leaves before you plant.
What is inside the glass water or something else?
I can now know how to plant strawberry Thank you
How is it going
Howz it going ?
thank you, can we put inside the house during winter in US?
My wife and myself are thai basil lover. Thank you for sharing . Do you have any extra thai basil cutting can spare ? Iwould like to try it.When is the best time to propagating basil from cutting ?
Will you get seeds at least from the greens.
