Creating The Combat Wheelchair Miniatures - Spin Casting And Injection Moulding
Forming (3D) models is the core of our company. We do this in silicone molds that are suitable for casting in various metals and plastics. In our foundry, we make products from design to prototype or end product. This enables us to deliver from every stage of the process. During production we use a variety of techniques, including pendulum, vacuum and injection molding. Because we control every aspect of the production process from start to finish, we understand how we can realize your idea.
The production is madewith some Nicem spincast machines, and Siocast ( sioform1) plastic injection machines.
We use round molds for spincasting. These are made of a silicone rubber. To make the mold, the models are placed in a layer of silicone and pressed. After a layer of talcum powder, the second silicone layer is placed. The mold form is closed with a pressure stamp with which the mold can be put under pressure. The silicone is vulcanized in the pressure furnace. After vulcanization, the malleable mass has been converted into a solid, yet bendable shape. After the casting- and air channels have been installed, the mold can be put into production. We use Nicem machines and silicones for our centrifugal casting
Molds for the SiOCAST are different from molds for centrifugal casting. Because these molds do not rotate in the casting machines, the shape is different. The method of production is about the same, but with injection molding the models are placed in the silicone in a different way. By properly cutting the channels, the liquid mass finds its way through the pouring channels after being injected into them at high pressure.
Our customer is strata miniatures wich has made his items for Dungeons and Diversity.

please can you help me, I can't remove the porosity in the 35MM pitch round rings, I inject the top right and the small air below, letting it come out of the rubber, but the porosity and holes always remain, do you have an effective remedy
Why make a video if you aren't willing to answer people's questions?... that is poor service from the start
Can i make brass components using this process
Hello, which resin do you use for the 3D printer for the prototypes?
As neat as this video is, it's more of a "how it's made" rather than a how to. I'd expect to be able to follow along with a how to, including where to source all of this stuff.
👍
Hoi! Super bedankt!
what molding to use

Hi to all from Alcoy, Spain. I,m working in a factory of buckles with spin casting zamak and zamak inyection, thanks an i follow you
Waar kan ik zo'n microframe kopen
I want to make medals, but I do not know the material from which they are made. Is it silicone or clay? And how much is the machine?

Hello my friend, I am a jewelry engineer. Can this machine make all kinds of rings with it? I want to buy one. Help me
Please advise for how many minutes you leave it vulcanizing and at what temperature degree ?
Hello! I am new to the spin casting game and wondering if you could answer some questions I have! I too have a Nicem machine, if you have any email I can contact you that would be great!!
Thank you for sharing. It's interesting to see the process.
Please, can you tell me what kind of resin (green) you use to make the mold?
What is the name of the chemical used?
What is the tool you are using to cut the grove in the mold
It's a linoleum cutter.
Never realized how much of the process was done by hand.
Beautiful setup beautiful job
if plasticard was covered entirely in greenstuff could it survive vulcanising? Would the plasticard melting inside the greenstuff destroy the miniature/ruin the mold?
DivePunch Gaming when you vulcanise the pieces carefully, and make sure there are no hollow parts , it will survive the vulcaniser. But I would recommend 90 dergrees silicon above 180 dergrees silicon
Around how many times you can use this one mold ? I am searching for ways of how to use the molds l more times . Will help alot if u share ur experience 😊
Bantoda Capo , sorry for the late response, nor really take a look again to the bit, just saw you message . We use it 300 till 500 castings
This is a "watch me" not a "how to".
allanGEE sorry for the late response, not often watch my channel ore reactions. But yeah your’re right .... but still thought let’s share it with everyone. Greetings from Holland
did you sale spincast machine also ?
Yes we do Nazmul! We sell new and used Nicem equipment
The best
Can you pour aluminium in it ?
FreemanBG wich i Could ;-) . Max 500 degrees
What is that orange silicone you add to the green?
Mike Evans that’s a softer silicone (40 shore) this is better resistant to undercut of the models
This is a soft rubber for easier extraction of more complex thee-dimensional shapes
@@АнтонРоманенко-п8в what brand is that silicone? It looks like it makes your job allot easier.
Dit is verbazingwekkend !! LOVE IT !!
Where can I buy those materials? In your webpage doesn't have information about that
did u ever find it?
@@nathanpollonais5501 Yes, thank you.
owsome... can apply this for jewellery... like GOLD ring
which metal is that you poured into the mould
mupparamshyam lead
Actually I think its pewter - it has a very low melting point - Lead is very toxic so would not be used for items like this.
