This played in my head when I saw the 2023 haunted mansion movie

I’ve always wanted to play Gaston, SPECIFICALLY for this fight and to fall from the tower. I think it might have something to do with my wish to conquer my fear of heights.

Without these voices, the scenes just show guests the pirates without telling exactly who they were. As a result, the audience is left to wonder: Who were these pirates, and what happened to them? Did those first three die fighting each other? Or did someone else kill them and take what was in that chest? And what of the others? What kind of curse left them all frozen in time?

That might be possibly Thurl Ravenscroft, is it?

We find it delightfully unlivable here in this ghostly retreat. Every room has wall-to-wall creeps… and hot and cold running chills! Shhhhhhh! Listen…

Serpents and spiders, tail of a rat, call in the spirits…wherever they’re at.

The happy haunts have received your sympathetic vibrations and are beginning to materialize. They’re assembling for a swinging wake…and they’ll be expecting me. I’ll see you all a little later.

When hinges creek in doorless chambers…and strange and frightening sounds echo through the halls, whenever candlelights flicker where the air is deathly still, that is the time when ghosts are present…practicing their terror with ghoulish delight. The way I see it, you and I are exactly the same: we both want to find a way out. (Zazu enters) Zazu: The king approaches! This is not a drill! His majesty has requested an audience. Upon his entrance, you will rise and genuflect. (Scar drops the mouse) Scar: Zazu, you’ve made me lose my lunch. Zazu: You’ll lose more than that when the king gets through with you! You will answer to Mufasa for missing the ceremony this morning! Scar: I answer to no one! (Starts advancing towards Zazu) Zazu: Scar? Scar? Scar, Scar, Scar, Scar, Scar! No, no! Don’t look at me like that! Scar: Are you hungry, Zazu? Perhaps we could have a bite together? (Mufasa enters) Mufasa: Scar! Scar: Well, well. Look who’s come down to mingle with the commoners. Mufasa: Sarabi and I didn’t see you at the presentation of Simba. Scar: Was that today? I feel simply awful! Must’ve slipped my mind. Of course, I meant no disrespect towards his majesty. Or Sarabi. As you know, I have tremendous respect for the queen. Zazu: As the king’s brother, you should have been first in line! Scar: Don’t you remember? I WAS first in line, until the precious prince arrived. (Starts to walk away) Mufasa: Don’t turn your back on me, Scar! Scar: Oh, no, Mufasa. Perhaps YOU shouldn’t turn YOUR back on ME! (Mufasa lunges at him) Mufasa: IS THAT A CHALLENGE!? Scar: I wouldn’t dream of challenging you. Again. Zazu: A wise decision. You are no match for his highness! Scar: Well, as far as brains go, I’ve got the lion’s share, but when it comes to brute strength, I’m afraid my big brother will always rule. Mufasa: Not always, Scar. One day, it shall be my son who rules. Simba will be your king. Scar: (sarcastically) Then, long live the king. (Exits) Mufasa: (sighs) What am I going to do with him? Zazu: Oh, come on! We both know he should have been exiled from the Pride lands long ago! Mufasa: He’s my brother, Zazu. This is his home, too. As long as I’m king, that will never change. (Sighs) and no matter how difficult Scar makes it for me. Zazu: Well, there’s one in every family, sire. I think he was dropped on his head as a cub. (They both exit)
