I am still appreciating this video years later. I just got an octane. I have an MP600 I’ve had for 20 years. I got an updated version a few years ago when I broke a blade and they sent me a whole new tool.
Both are great tools why put down the Leatherman if both tools have different functions and the ability to do different tasks.it's hard for me to grasp what you are trying to say.
I own both. The craftsman ship of the swiss tool is more refined, no arguments there. But as for the functionality, the one hand accessibility of the knife, saw, file, and the serrated knife along with the inner tools, the charge wins hands down. Besides despite the seemingly superior and more solid craftsmanship of the swiss tool, the leatherman charge tti is no slouch as an excellent multi-tool by any measure. It is a high quality beautifully constructed solid reliable item.
If victorinox would only have the bitholder and the blade of the charge.. or if they made the charge so that it doesn’t pinch your hand when the pliers slip
My charge sux Bad vs my swisstool! I had a wave long for a long time till a tool broke and i had to return it to leatherman. Nice waranty but thats it. The leatherman changed 3 times and every Tool ist get was shit.
Ive carried my charge for a good bit over a year now and will be getting either a Spirit or swisstool next weekend. I have quite a few Leathermans and SAKs but dont have a plier based Victorinox yet. Nice video!
Sorry to offend anyone with a Charge but that thing is far from ergonomic. I have multitools from almost all of the manufacturers and I have to say the ones made by COAST are very ergonomic.

The Victorinox wins in overall craftsmanship and design, the Leatherman wins in the knife department.
Good video

I think that charge is better just because you can to disassembly it.
Cheers
Good review mate, honest and to the point.
It was a one take deal, I left a few things I meant to say put.
Bit of sandpaper'll take the sharp edges off. Good attention to detail there.
