Dear Caroline's Dad, I've watched you for years now and you've helped me to be the best cat mom I can be. You've pushed me to research and learn about my 4 legged children so I can give them the best possible life I can afford to. Watching this 1st episode of Caroline's cancer journal has been the best worst video I've ever seen you do. Thank you for showing us such a deeply personal side of yourself and your family. I'm sorry that people offer unsolicited opinions on how they think you should handle your family, your child. I have human children that I raised into adulthood and when they moved away, as they should I found myself unable to switch off the momma gene. I'd never had a cat until 2014. Jasper the Magnificent, an all black MC mix adopted me and I was on my way. Jasper passed away when I took him to get his teeth cleaned in 2016. They never even got an IV into him. He collapsed on the table as they were getting him ready for the procedure. They tried to revive him for over 45min. Having been an EMTP for 9yrs I know how violent CP resuscitation is and it destroyed me knowing that he took his last breath without me being there to comfort him. Fast forward to now...I have 3 beautiful house panthers and I do volunteer work & foster for black cats. I knew next to nothing about felines when Jasper adopted me so I had to learn and you helped me become the loving cat mom I am today. The most important thing you can do for any child is love them unconditionally. The 2nd is feed then a species appropriate diet. Who does this sound like (you!) Knowing that you feed your babies a carnivorous diet I'd say we can rule out a poor diet as the reason for cancer taking up residence in her little body. Which brings us back to the beginning...why? You said you were angry. Totally normal! I'm sure you're aware of Kubler-Ross 5 stages of grief. That said stop being so hard on yourself! If you feel like punching an inanimate object, punch it. If you feel like cussing the universe out then do that. If you want to cry yourself to sleep, go for it. There's no right or wrong way to feel or behave. You do you. You do Minah and you do Caroline. This is about your loved ones and the relationship you have with each of them. I found out this past fall my BFF who is a PA at the VA in DC...she works with GI patients...she has adenocarcinoma of the duodenum...its close to where Caroline has cancer...but in a human. My immediate reaction also was anger. Why her? She's the kindest most giving person I've ever known. Why? We will never get an answer to that question. Not for Caroline's cancer or my dearest friend's... I hope cancer gets cancer and dies a slow agonizing death so it knows how it feels to die from itself! That makes no sense to most people but I somehow think you understand what I mean. I believe that you & Minu (sorry if mispelled) will do the right thing by Caroline and your family. Follow your heart. I believe you will see each other again for any being capable of feeling & showing love has a soul and we will all meet again in the Summerlands! Had to share: I've🐾been changing the vid speed🐾to🐾fast🐾er 🐾 how my kitty LOVES it!🐾 Just take it past the like button (but not before you hit👍🏼) to settings at the far right. Go to "SPEED" slam it, go down to make it fast, up for slow. This is also nice for watching hard to follow 👁️videos👁️in slow motion. (All UA-cam videos have this function.) My kitty likes super fast, but she's happy when it stops so she can "bite😼it". 😾🦗🎉 Thanks so much🥰

🛑🛑🛑Be careful with your cat watching this video!!! My cats normally love cat videos and this was the first time I let them watch this one. I was gone about an hour and a half and when I came back home both my cats were howling and terrified! They were clearly spooked and looking for something. I couldn’t figure out why. Then I heard the cats meowing on the video. I quickly turned it off, thinking that might be the problem. And sure enough they started to relax. I spent the next hour calming down my cats. I felt so bad for them. 😢🛑🛑🛑🛑

I just rescued a little feral kitten she absolutely adore this . She just watched so intensely. I keep it on for her now❤
