yes...they can be. but I'm also often short on time/too lazy to take things to all the BST stores so it's the convenience for me.

Oh that sucks! I still send in my things once I decide to remove them from my inventory but at that time, I'm usually okay with not making anything on them anymore. I think for the 3-4 boxes I sent them in the summer I only got around $150 in total bit that's still better than sitting on things and minimizes the loss. But I don't consider thredup a way to make a profit anymore!

For clothing I try to go to as many consignments in my area. If 2-3 don't want the clothing, I will donate it. That tells me it's not sellable.

That's smart, I've debated that! I'd also be okay with taking things to clothes mentor and Plato's but both of those are a bit more of a drive for me so convenience usually wins. 😉

Do you still sell to Thredup? I had a BIG problem with their fees. $14 to ship and once I had to pay $18 for one garment to be returned. It was a catastrophic loss. I closed my account.
