I have found music to be so, so important. And I wanted to be different than just another talking head. These videos aren't very long, but I do storyboard them out and plan every scene. Because of that, they take days to make. But I love it and thank you for appreciating my work here. :) Happy Friday!

If ever I skip a day or two, I notice immediately. On a positive note, staying flexible as you get older really helps a lot of things: being more flexible, helps tendons, helps muscle and bone work better...good stuff!

Friend, have you done your back exercises today? Hehe. I might skip a day here or there, but I strive to do them every day. If I skip too much, it's immediately apparent: body parts start talking to me. And they don't talk very nicely. So it keeps me motivated. 😂 Also, thank you for your comment. So much! Hi! 👋 You're so sweet to comment on here and thanks for the well-wishes. Elly is now on five different medications and his prognosis is 1-2 years of life left. I sincerely hope he surprises us and defies the odds. He's such a kewl kat. But whatever happens, he doesn't know he's sick and we're just trying to spoil him and make sure every day counts. :)

@@artfunky - 👍🙏Awesome. Quality of life is so important. The Vet can only give their best guess. They gave my Shih Tzu a time range and he lived 2-3 times longer than their best guess. The only thing I asked of my Shih Tzu was to let me know when it was “time” and to not let me find him un-alive. He passed away in my arms looking at me. As painful as it was, I couldn’t ask for anything better than that. I can only hope & pray that I can also “go”in the arms of someone who loves me unconditionally.🙏💝

Originally I was just going to create videos on a few different topics and I wasn't worried about making them more "cinematic." Then I found a group of people who regularly create cinematic videos and I loved them. @@VH1hodges Oh yes, we love Big Bro's videos. Wonderful messages and so very heartfelt. These videos...whew! They are a lot of fun to make. But they take a lot of time and planning. There's the idea generation, then the script writing. Then I draw out every scene and/or imagine everything I'm going to do. Then there's recording each scene (my most recent video had 45 different scenes I recorded). Then onto the editing and making interesting cuts along with really paying attention to the sound. That's why I only do one of these a week for right now - because I have to fit them in with everything else. Still, I think I've unlocked a Pandora's box for myself. I had no idea videography could be so fun!

Definitely. He recently had an echocardiogram. The vet thinks Elly has a year, maybe two with this diagnosis. Just goes to show: enjoy every moment and try to live in the moment.

Thank you so much! We have an EKG appointment with Elly today, actually, and hopefully we'll get some better insights into fine-tuning his treatment so he can be around for years to come. It is a journey for sure!

Thank you for your suggestions. :) I have looked into herbs and together with the different herbal companies and holistic vets, and through my research, we have all determined that hawthorn, dandelion and Schisandra can all cause dangerous and potentially lethal interactions with Elly's heart medicine, especially the pimobendan. Now, should Elly ever be able to get off the pimobendan (sometimes it can be contraindicated in HCM cases, depending on what the EKGs show), THEN we can entertain some of these herbal options. But for now, they are off the table. Appreciate the suggestions and as an added bonus, these herbs can be especially helpful in cats with heart murmurs. :)

She really enjoys it! Eventually, I would like to take her sisters along, but we will need a different setup (it would be much easier in a camper rather than a tent if you have multiple cats and a dog). Little by little we’re getting there. 🤪
