Thanks. The toilet paper holder on the radiator 😲
I want someone to count how many times the fire alarm chirped
If you are watching this within a few days of uploading, lucky you because this one isn’t even on the market yet so you are seeing it first!
This is a poor white neighborhood 1 bus close to the Walmart but you can't walk there no police department patrol by State Police. Trash
That so called 3rd bedroom would make a nice study.
That’s true! Free from all the other distractions in the house 😂
Bra you couldn't pay me to live in Pittsburgh, that's a total no.
Where would you like to live?
Why? Where do you want to go? I've been considering Pittsburgh since I live south and hate the heat. Any suggestions?
This is why I moved 80 mins out of Pittsburgh. My house is as big as that whole building and only 30k. Does need new siding to be perfect but its refinished inside with bamboo floors, chandeliars, and high ceilings, the works.
Oh nice that sounds like it worked out for you! Did you live in the city before that?
@@TimRobertsREYup I was born at Magee womens so Ive lived all over Pittsburgh. City life lost its luster for me, atleast to live in, but I wouldnt have had it any other way. Still love my home town
Nice video!
Thank you! 🫵
Thanks Tim. Great video coverage.
Thank you! 🙏 🙏
You do great work man! Thank you!
Thank you Forrest! 🙌
@ My future wife and I plan on moving to Pittsburgh in about 16 months. We would love to rent downtown for a year as we work in a charter school downtown. Then, open our own middle school in Pittsburgh. Been watching your videos and appreciating all the work you do. Definitely look forward to working with you in the future!!! Thank you!
It is insane what a house costs these days. This “starter” is out of reach for many and many who could afford to start there could never afford to leave. It’s a cute house but the price seems ridiculous. A house like this used to be affordable.
It really is. Particularly just in the last 5 years or so and not just houses, cars as well new or used 😥
@ China will find a way to dump cheap, Chinese branded cars on Americans sooner or later. Something that runs for a few years and appeals to those whose budgets do not allow for a $40,000 car or a $250,000 home. So that solves the car problem for the underpaid who need transportation. They’ll still be living in apartments though.
It doesn't worth it.
It does to the person who put it under contract a few days ago 🫢
Pittsburgh has become expensive. 😢
Everywhere has become expensive 🥲 but I think Pittsburgh remains affordable relative to most places
Thats a shed sorriubded by many other sheds no rokm neighbors are too close thats not what people are looking forvwere looking for pesce rural space not bunched in
Do you live in Pittsburgh? Many of the houses here you can probably jump from the second floor window into your neighbors house 😂 idk what to tell you, but 2 offers over asking in the first few days and it’s now contingent
East Liberty was great up until the early 70's and it went downhill. It had a family owned department store called Mansmanns, Sears where Home Depot is now and numerous other stores and theaters. Urban planning was responsible for the destruction. It is making a comeback now but I don't think it will ever be the same as it once was, but then again, what is? Look up some old photos on the internet of East Liberty in the 1950's.
I would knock out a couple of walls and open up the kitchen to accommodate a dining area and make a nice bedroom downstairs
Some people at the open house were debating that as well but some were saying it might not be structurally viable to do that. I’m not sure 🤔
Was just going to make the same comment. A young family with a “handy” mom and/or dad could easily combine the living room with the front bedroom creating a living/dining open concept. That should be structurally ok because the carrying wall runs in the middle of the house. You could then build a master bedroom in the basement either by reassigning the current finished space (adding partitions) or converting the garage into a spacious above ground master. Either way you have “good bones” in this listing along with an affordable mortgage. The rest is a function of location, schools, crime rate, demographics.
Great place, Tim! And great job introducing the house!
Thank you James! 🙌🙌
I think that comperable homes in Pgh, especially in Beechview, Brookville, etc would be notably LESS.
Possibly! I think the main things that justify the price on this one is it is ready to go, no painting or updates needed, the fully finished basement, and the school district it’s in
Nice starter home! And beautifully updated, even has a fenced in yard for the pups!
Absolutely! And I forgot to mention in the video but it’s also in a good school district
What neighbourhood is this in?
This one would be in reserve township
This looks like a nice place!
✨✨✨✨ I agree
Wretched awful renovation of a once-beautiful home. Industrial grey walls-why? I really hate grey modern everything. Also why is the camera on the person giving the tour so much instead of showing the house? You really only need one person filming these. Hate to complain so much, well not really, but the grey is so awful. I would have to repaint the whole thing.
Some real estate websites are now calling Greenfield "Squirrel Hill South". Its right next to Squirrel Hill and is a much more affordable option than Squirrel Hill proper. Close to everything, friendly neighbors, and shares the same High School as Squirrel Hill.
Born and raised in the Burgh. The price has nothing to do with the quality of the home, not worth the price. If that exact house was in Allentown, Beltzhoover or Knoxville, the listing price would be no more than 40K. You are paying for the uppity neighborhood!
Amazing🎉🎉
Thank you James! 🙌
Some very nice houses, Tim! I haven’t seen brick and cobblestone roads in a long time. Nice.
Thank you Ray! When are you gonna come scout there area? Lots of cobblestones here lol
@ Hmmm, … springtime (?) Tim, are you planning on a tour of Troy Hill?
Well I plan on doing all the neighborhoods 😂 I think there are 90 neighborhoods in the city alone but I can bump up the priority on that one if you want to see it!
@ yes! It’s very interesting looking. Historical, diverse and close to the city. I like all those older homes and I’ve heard there are shops, restaurants, bars that are easily accessible. Looks like the Strip District isn’t far from there. It would be nice to see and get a feel for.
Ashamed to admit I don’t know where Regent Square is. I need to do some research.
But you watched the full tour of this one that I did the other day 😂 right on the edge of frick park near edgewood, wilkinsburg, and point breeze 🙌
@@TimRobertsRE thanks Tim - I don’t know Pittsburgh well at all. Obviously. I’m in a little town just outside of Lower Burrell. Used to come into Pittsburgh a lot. I like bide riding on the Greater Allegheny Passage (Millvale to McKeesport). Haven’t made it all the way to DC yet - maybe one day. Your videos are showing areas of Pittsburgh that i want to explore further.
Oh I see! Yea I’ve heard about the people that ride all the way to DC that sounds a little crazy 😂 I plan on doing all the neighborhoods here so plenty more to come!
That was me yelling at you from my car 🙃
Oh I didn’t catch what you actually said 🤭
I was saying hi😊
I’m looking to move here right now from Colorado!!
Hi Maryann! I’d love to help 🙌 send me either a text to 412-415-7518 or email to tim.roberts@exppgh.com and let’s figure it out!
You create great videos. They help me learn more about Pittsburgh neighborhoods.
Thanks for the kind words! Let me know if there are any other neighborhoods you want to see! 🙏
Good job. I'm from Pittsburgh. Was a DJ there in the late 70s and early 80s. Grandparents worked in Steel Mills of Duquesne. Great job.
Thank you! Oh man wasn’t that when the Steelers were unstoppable?
👏👏👏👏hope you have amazing holidays, Tim!
Thank you and you too! Let me know if there are any other neighborhoods you’d like to see! I still have plenty on my list to go through haha
😮😮😮🎉🎉🎉thank you so much!!!
😮😮😮🎉🎉🎉
It’s definitely a great place to live!
Oh do you happen to live in the area?
@ Yes, I live there
@ nice! Are there any other cool local events that I missed?
@ The Run Around the Square and Yard Sale are the major events. You got those. Light Up Night is generally the weekend after T’ giving. The individual communities that comprise Regent Square also have their own activities. I live in Edgewood, 2 blocks off of the S. Braddock business district. The bars and restaurants are very bustling, but you might not known that if you come during the day/afternoon. Overall, it’s just a very walkable, friendly (and dog friendly) community that is convenient to just about anywhere city-wise because of its proximity to the Parkway. Love it!
Awesome thank you for that insight! I always love hearing things from people that live in the areas I tour 🙌
Nice solid but dated home, the possibilities are endless. First on the to go list is that big mirrored wall in the first room you entered! Great tour Tim, good job 😉
Thank you! 🙏 yea it’s almost like a workout studio 😂 but if updated and maintained it could be a great home!
Yes the LVP flooring and the painted over wood work is sad, but it’s all about resale price. If they took the time AND money to basically restore it to original, they’d never be able to price it to sell in the market of that neighborhood. Beautiful old house though, someone could buy and slowly restore it themselves (as a project) but again you would never get your investment back out of it. Nice tour Tim BTW, thanks!
Thank you David!

Hi Tim! I’d love to know more about Regent Square! And would love to see a few houses there as well. Thank you for doing these great videos! I’m a new subscriber! Your Korean is very good, hahaha!
Hey James thank you! For sure I can make a video on regent square! 🙌
@ look forward to watching it! Thank you!

Thank you!
Your absolutely correct. Do not move to Pittsburgh. Theres a great deal of discrimination and bias against certain people. They dont like certain people and will conspire to murder them
No way! That is not steep road at all
Do you know a steeper one?🤭
@@TimRobertsRE obvi! it's in california
There is a lot of crime there.
THERE IS NO WHEEL IN THAT PKG. THEY ARE HIGH PRESSURE AIRLESS TIRES THAT WEIGHS MORE THAN THREE NORMAL TIRES TOGETHER IN ONE HAND. IT COMES WITH SHRINK-WRAP SO THERE IS NO GRIPPING. THERE WAS A BOUNCE DUE TO THE PRESSURE . NO IT CANT BURST. AND YOYR GATE WAS CLOSED: TO A FEDEX DRIVER THAT MEANS DO NOT ENTER BY FOOT
There were in fact wheels inside of the tires 🤷♂️
When I was a kid they called it Dirtmont.
