I remember attending what I used to call "the museum school" in 1969-1970. Fun memories. Whenever I think of the word dinosaur, one of the images in my head is a memory a display here. It was the skeleton of a predator standing over another dino skeleton. I am 57yo.

I used to go dancing at this facility, for many years. Many a pretty lady shared a Two Step , Waltz or Swing Dance with me.... I think the years were 73 to early 79...., that's when I went to Seattle, to work at BOEING Airplane Co. I think I've relived a few dances in my dreams, it was like a dream, just to be there. My favorite song was Cinderella, with a few songs by George J, Merle H, Buck Owens, the Wilburn Brothers & others. Many times I've wished I were close enough, to make the drive to the StageCoach Ballroom. Another favorite of mine was in Abilene, It was called the Ponderosa Ball Room...

I love Benbrook Stables. Used to board there back in the 60s. I just have one small correction to offer up. There is one larger boarding stables in Tarrant County…it’s just a few more minutes down the road. Curragh Equestrian Center is a 150+ acre facility. But their focus is not really for the occasional recreational rider. They do not rent out horses. It’s is an eventing/dressage training barn based on English riding. Both facilities serve different markets so it works out perfectly. No competition at all ❤

Worked in downtown FTW for 10 years. Whenever we had to work on a Saturday, a co-worker and I would fuel ourselves with the apple filled German pancake at Ol' South before heading in to work. Such good, wonderful memories.
