This drama never gets old. Holier than thou preacher is a sinner like everyone else. Guitarists here are top notch. But Alice Cooper is set apart because it really is a stagecraft with all the requisite tropes. Since I watched Spinal Tap all those years ago, this kind of histrionics just looks ridiculous to me, that film did for camp rock what Smashie & Nicey did for Radio 1.

The Billion Dollar Babies tour at the Los Angeles Forum was one of the greatest concerts I've ever attended. And 51 years later it still is! Although In fairness nothing will ever match the sound and feel of the original Alice Cooper group! It's hard to believe that I was 13 years old when I saw that show. I am now 64 and still Alice is in my top five.

I saw Motorhead, Alice and Priest on Operation Rock and Roll tour.
