when is it launching on the website?

I'm an American living in China. I bought a Shijie Tele for my 75yo brother who owns 3 American Strats and Two Gibsons. Shoji delivered his on time for his birthday in Chicago. He says it is the best guitar he has EVER played!

A Shijie strat is on my bucket list. I hear so many positive reviews of these things. Their comparable Fender models have not been at these prices for 15 years. I know costs have to go up if materials and labor costs increase; but please keep the prices as low as possible. Sooner or later, players will begin to take notice as these guitars get into more hands.

The only thing good about getting old are the monthly social security checks the government keeps sending me, just for staying alive! Fortunately they are just enough to buy another Shijie guitar, so now I'm up to.....many. Today I bought another one, a fixed bridge STE in Daphne blue (about the only color I don't have yet), and with S/S/p90 pickups, having a P-90 in the bridge position will rock! The sales rep Dave is going to find a dark roasted neck for mine, looking forward to playing it. I noticed the older ones from 2020 and early 2021 have necks that are considerably more chunky, which I like, but I like the slimmed down version used now too, which is still chunkier than Fender's "deep C" necks, and feels much better too. Shijie guitars are better than Fender, unless you don't like 12" radius necks and larger frets, but I love them. I rarely see them for sale used, and they have a cult following because they really are superior instruments. The necks are the heart of the guitar, and the first thing I check, and their necks are the best, plus the pickups are great sounding. Obviously I'm a fan, and will keep buying them until they send me a bad one (not likely). Their California dealer "Baylands" is moving to Portland where I live - bought my first two Shijie guitars from him in California, and later another one, the rest are from Leen Music or the Shijie factory, as the current build is coming from. I love that the sales rep will do custom orders for you, if you want stainless steel frets, a dark roasted neck, a one-piece neck (if they still do them?), different pick-guard, locking tuners (or not), etc. Shijie guitars will be widely appreciated in the future, after people realize how good they are!!

I've never seen a tortoise pick-guard on a Shijie TLV before, maybe it's aftermarket? Nice playing, the Shijie pickups are excellent - no?

All for $799? Gotta be kidding me. I smells a purchase a comin.

I assume the one assisting is the boss. (seems he has passion for guitar building) and even helps the worker. I would like to visit the factory.

Did it come with pick up covers or did you add them?

I notice that this has PAF style pickups in the video. Is there an option to get that style of pickup or does it only come with humbuckers?

Most impressive is the fact that PEOPLE are making these guitars. Not a CNC machine that only provides a greater profit margin. With all the guitars I have it would be nice to dump all the NAME brand and start over with guitars of this QUALITY.

made in China? I don't think so! I've spent a small fortune on China products and %80 of it is inferior garbage! It don't last and they have no clue as to what metallurgy even is! and when their sh*t goes bad they never stand behind their world or products, never!
