@@JaiJai-by4tp for the training purpose it was alright😁
@@sebibuchs we're you training them how not to do it ? When you teach anyone anything you never start wrong ,and that's what this is .Its the first thing you should learn as a teacher . 1+1=3 ,start wrong then it's never right
@@JaiJai-by4tp it was me who got the training on the new 105 groupset are you starting to get it ? Listen carefully first that‘s something you should learn first too if you want to play the teacher😅
Great, so the solution is to get another crank, rings and a powermeter. Genious!
just ordered - curious how it will replace my Oakley ;-)
Its funny how people think hookless is unsafe... What do you think your CAR wheels are? LOL
There is quite a difference - i think you don‘t run 4-5 bars in your car😅
I wanted to buy the endurance cf 7, it’s £1000 less, but it’s out of stock and I’m impatient. Would you just splash 1k for this , or it’s not worth ?
After 2 years, the sound of the hub simply stopped working
This tool is great if you like only checking 24in and above size bikes and it barely works on those ...it is to under designed for a proper bike tool ...A HAG should be able to do ALL sizes of bike not limited to a few....it is over priced and not worth it.. worst investment i made in my 30y as a bike mechanic , the Park DAG 3 is the best one made today IMO ...its not perfect but far better than the Abbey!
How tall are you? And how toll is your Seatpost?
Love this bike, its a shame they sell every frame size except my size, I need to buy the whole bike to get my size :(
Beautiful bike! On your saddle, you might have a counterfeit or factory second. Check the bottom of the saddle for a quality control sticker. I had the same problem, with no sticker. I ended up buying another one and have been creak free and happy with it!
The tool looks quite good, but I am in doubt, the linear Bearings will last very long, when you do a lot´s of re - bending the eyelets of the rear derailleur. I bought one from Ali Express, which is simply made, (you cannot turn the measuring part like on the HAG) but this one will last "for ever", because you can tighten in in any position. And the price for it was appr. 35.-
I disagree. I prefer mechanical all day. Who wants to have to plug in their bike? Not me.
I also have Campa Athena rim brakes and thought 25 mm was the biggest tyre size I could get away with. But then I measured the Michelin Pro 4 25 mm's that I have on the bike and they are actually 27.6 mm wide.
God bless this exists - no instructions from giro….
I have a cannondale caad10 105 and I bought the same crank but It cannot fit. Do yo have an idea? Just a beginner here 😅 Thanks
If you have this crank then you have a 30mm spindle and you need the compatible bottom bracket, what bottom bracket is mounted in your frame?
@@sebibuchs I have a BB30, I think this is the stock bottom bracket.
weight?
Just over 7kg like 7.1-7.2
I use other end of kitchen fork for that. 😅
Weight?
So as smooth as 9s Deore. Good 👍
Great explanation, thank you. One point is that the newer versions of the SM-PCE02 come with a SD300 link cable, so it connects directly to the bike without need for the adapter.
GRX or Deore XTR FTW? Basically the same or is there some differential?
Well the GRX will only work with the STI of the same group set while XTR only works with the dedicated thumb shifter. But in terms of shifting performance on trails I would say that they could be quite similar
Hi ! Merci pour ta vidéo. J’hésite encore entre plusieurs machines mais en effet, celle ci est convaincante. Une petite question… tu as un léger accent français. Es-tu français ?
Merci a toi! Je suis suisse😁
Ah d’accord.. ceci explique cela. En tout cas, tu t’exprimes très bien en anglais et ton accent est léger.
Please measure the distance of two pins for a free spoke. I have a 20" ebike, is there enough space to measure the spoke? The manufacturer does not provide dimensions of the pin distance. Thank you very much for your help.
Everything is clear. Is the size possible for a 20" wheel? Clamps, what is their length?
Here's the deal. Shimano doesn't want to do an update on battery power. If the battery dies or goes below a certain voltage, the shifter will be bricked. Then you will need to go to a bike mech with. the PCE02 and the appropriate software. The wire simply supplies the internal DI2 battery voltage to the shifter. You can tap off of the battery, the rear or front derailleur. Just pull the wire from the derailleur or internal battery (there's a third port on the internal battery) and connect to the shifter through the wire and the junction.
Fair point, however SRAM doesn't seem to think this is an issue. Besides most firmware update tools will first check battery levels and refuse to start if the battery is less than 50% or so.
It's in the 1by setup ? What's the cassette ?
10-50
Yes it is 1x with a 10-51 cassette
it's always nice to see mechanical & rim setup

What model (code) of this hub? without the silence?
Simple, instructive and no-nonsene instalation guide
Thanks!
Are these hubs good for sealing out the rain? If not, which hubs are best?
Sure just be sure it is greased enough
Excellent info. Thankyou
Does the wave washer go to the non drive side or the drive side?
What an absurd pain in the butt. Thanks for making this video to cover something that should be MUCH easier :-)
How much is the replacement bushing and will it also be available for "life" ?
I've also read that Shimano DA chain works really well with Campy SR groupset
12 speed?
I made 15 000 km with my 11s Potenza chain which was waxed and with KMC pin on it without problems!
There's in even better option if you regularly remove your chain from your bike, the Wipperman Connex Link. It's actually completely toolless and it uses a maze-like geometry instead of compression to hold the chain together so it doesn't wear out like a regular quick/power link might. It might look a bit sketchy but I've never had one fail even in fairly rough MTB scenarios, and they don't have any sort of reputation of coming undone either. They make chain / drivetrain maintenance super easy and convenient, only downside is cost. Been using them on Shimano chains with zero issues so you're not limited to using Wippermann chains either (though they are fairly high quality as well). Only downside is cost, they're priced rather highly at around 20e each (for 11 speed) and you're usually much better off buying a whole chain that comes with one for like 30.
Yep, wipperman 12spd connex link is great...buy two, just incase chain snaps elsewhere!
yes I've used Wipperman on 11s it was great!
KMC chain can be used to Campagnolo too
I just think it looks flimsy which is why I went for the Park Tool DAG-3 instead. I also don't want my hand covered in grease everytime I use it because it's so easy to touch that greased shaft by mistake. Park Tools version is so much simpler design. Personally this kind of tool will live at home so size was no issue. I just wanted a sturdy and well working thing that I can just rely on for lots of years. I've used it once and no issues. Simple straight forward job and I had never done it before. About accuracy you adjust the screw at the bottom of the tool to limit slack. After that you simply measure the exact same spot on the rim but at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock position(turning the wheel together with the tool). Then simply adjust what ever needs adjusting. As this park Tool version has no shaft moving up and down that limits play from use which is another reason I never went with the HAG. Once you got play there you're screwed. I just feel it's an overcomplicated tool made to look neat and I have no use for that. An alignment gauge is pretty much just a breaker bar you screw onto the derailleur hanger. It shouldn''t be complicated at all.
Good points being made! To this point I never had issues with play or the greasy bit (you can avoid that pretty easily). Once the tool develops play you can replace the brass bushing and you get rid of it
Have you considered using YBN QRs12?? It’s reusable for 5 times
Yes! Also I am considering YBN chains in general for 12 speed
I've a similar set up and of coruse I'm a huge fun of mech+rim option! I've solved with a new frame with campy rim direct mount rim caliper which allows you to have a tire up to 30mm!
Nice video sebibuchs. Where did you buy the 3T Aeroflux LTD Carbon Fibre Handlebar. Is it a genuine 3T handlebar?
Yes it‘s genuine. We ordered it for a customer of ours from the official reseller in Switzerland and you‘ll need a b2b login for that But I‘m sure you can find it online as well
I'm also running the axs FD almost rubbing, I think that's normal and should be expected. Adjusting the B screw on the RD fixed the chain drops, you have to mess about within the line that SRAM says is the "correct" spacing until you get it right. The clicking of the FD when shifting and changing chainrings will also disappear in this configuration.
What you do that
Why did you do that
The frame was cracked and if you want a warranty frame Canyon asks you to cut it up into pieces and send a photo
@@sebibuchs due so smart!
I ordered a custom frame from taiwan with Sirrius S5 geometry.. it feels like and enduro bike🫢
Yeap and now the quick release is removing the cable or letting go of the air. Campagnolo is the Apple of groupsets. It looks nice but nothing else is compatible with them.
