@@norme1850 Right, It can be tough during times. There is also reading the surf can also contribute to your skunk. And many other factors like using a leader and darker color lines, etc. I trust you have done your research on setups! 👌Somedays its better somedays it not! Also checking weather and tide could also affect the fish you catch. Try it again and feel free to be adventurous! Tight lines!

Oh Sick! I did see a lot of kids there, I had a dark blue cart.

@ nice, I wasn’t the but did u catch any, I caught my first surf halibut there to the left of the pier like 20 ft from it, It was only 19 in tho

@ nice! so far I skunked on the beach next to the pier, [using perch setup] but I do want to throw some Swims or flukes for some hali.

@ nice, there isn’t much perch at that beach but if you go to the other side of the harbor to Ledbetter beach close the the breakwater there a lot of perch there.

@@timfoshee7168 Hey man! Thanks for the comment! Thats a great observation, yes they are in the same genus! But these guys can get a lot bigger. Up to the 20 INCHES and up to 5 pounds. They are a bit more hefty than usual pinfish and are actually great eating. But they are a bit simalar in shape. Most of these are quite small for there size since im using a smaller bait, but if you saw I switched to a bigger bait resulting in that target size Perch that has always been famous of the coast! Thanks.
