THE FRAUD - Joshua Jet Vaughan and The Voice of God ~ Driving South LIVE
FRAUD ALERT! FRAUD ALERT! FRAUD ALERT! FRAUD ALERT!
Supposedly, here's 'Joshua Jet Vaughan' and 'Anna Bella Vaughan' playing 'Drivin' South'.
However, it is actually Stevie Ray Vaughan playing at Fitzgerald's Club in Houston Texas on June 20th 1983. Here is the link to Stevie's Fitzgerald performance:
ua-cam.com/video/QljYyX7fjdc/v-deo.html
You'll note that the imposter version I posted here is IDENTICAL to Stevie's Fitzgerald performance linked above. The frauds 'Anna Bella Vaughan' and 'Joshua Jet Vaughan' took the Fitzgerald performance and added a cycling 'cheer' track to make it sound like fans are going crazy over 'their' performance.
I got sick and tired of 'Anna Bella Vaughan' crying and complaining in her posts that she and her husband are the actual performers. So I repost the video they originally made, and they then took down. You can now judge for yourselves whose performance it actually is.
'The Voice of God', and 'performed' by 'Anna Bella Vaughan' and 'Joshua Jet Vaughan'?!?! How delusional...
'Anna Bella Vaughan' and 'Joshua Jet Vaughan', you should be ashamed of yourselves, and go get a job.

FRAUD ALERT! 'Jackson Smith' has fraudulently posted Stevie's performance here as someone else doing it, a so-called 'Joshua Jet Vaughan'. How despicable can a person be?!?! Oh yes, that would include 'Anna Bella' too. Liars, all of them... Here's the link to the video they originally posted and then took down; you be the judge: ua-cam.com/video/sOyUWah60Nk/v-deo.html 1983, June 20th at Fitzger...

I'm sure Jimi didn't care if his playing lasted 1000 years or a lunchtime. he never said he was all That. Always gave compliments to his contemporaries. Was a man of his time. Yeah was one of the Greatist, that's reflection of history 50 years latter. Today we all play in tune and are on this channel, talking nonsense and "tonewoods" Man if you took all the jAZZ piano players who recorded on that one Steinway in NJ in the 50's and 60's for Blue note. there is no best , greatest just totally unique people doing what they can.

My favorite thing ever said about Vaughan was by some metal player.." He is' nt going to come out and say it, BUT when he is playing behind his back and behind his head, he is saying that he is the man.....And HE IS THE MAN!" And he proves it like always again here.

I like it better than Jimi's version. Stevie had a knack for doing great covers, eg, "Mary Had a Little Lamb" and "Texas Flood."

Vaughan is one of the greatest technical blues guitarists . but he lacked nuances and subtleties and creativity that Hendrix had . Yes Hendrix usually played the same loud dynamics but he also threw in some "rests" , and soft riffs . Hendrix was also more versatile than Vaughan -- Little Miss Strange is one example

Stevie Ray Vaughan is a good player, but he doesn't have as much to do with Hendrix as everyone always says. Hendrix's Driving South version is another matter. Hendrix has more interesting ideas, is more imaginative, more subtle and is less repetitive. And Stevie's lead-heavy guitar tone and the extremely powerful bends with those extremely thick strings don't contribute so much to the lightness of the piece. Stevie is a good blues guitarist, but no Jimi Hendrix. Let's not get carried away!

i never got to see jimi, but i saw stevie twice,1985,and 89 with jeff beck. stevie ray changed my life, got me deep into the blues and that path led me to loving hendrix, but i think jimi and stevie cut from similar, but different cloth. thank god for the both of them! long live rock and the blues!

Check out my buddy Chris Duartes version, on you tube.Chris Duarte rips a ferocious "Drivin' South"- Akron Ohio 2004. 17:40 min. You can really hear the big Coltrane influence as well as Jimi Hendrix' Great live player, not afraid to go out there. I've known him over 30 ys. Giant 3 and a half hour sets. After that you won't want to listen to any more music for about a week.

Wow !! I like this even better than Hendrix himself ! Because the groove is much better. Also Stevie is a better guitar player when it comes to playing fast and precisely. Really, really good ! Better than anything I heard so far from any of the players that cover or try to follow Hendrix.

SRV was the absolute king of everything on guitar. His solos, rhythm playing, tone, vibrato, bending, phrasing, he was just on fire in every area as a guitarist.

The SRV riff you want is the same as Jimi's, and is in the following book: Buy the tablature book by Hal Leonard - 'Hendrix - Radio One', Recorded Versions. It has Jimi's 'Drivin South' in it, and is the best Hendrix version available. There is a used one on eBay right now for $10 - buy it right now and preserve your sanity! 🙂 Oh, and buy the CD too if you don't already have it.

For some reason, they keep dropping the original Jimi BBC recordings of Driving South, there are two sessions I know of. Best guitar work I've ever heard. Never heard anyone ever do it like that -- a lot have tried but really, not too good.

First time hearing this OMG! Where does it all come from? Yeah Guy Incognito he is an alien. There's an unidentified planet up there missing their beloved as much as we do. They beamed down this gift to us and he was lost. How, how in the hell does all that come outta one being? My tiny mind implodes to imagine what we'd have experienced through these SRV-less years. Wish we cud have him back again.😢 Always in our hearts.☮️😀
