Canon 80D! Pretty Sweet new toy. Better than phone footage of my to dos. Sittric's Shop is coming right along
RK24 is a super handy machine, I’m stuck between buying the backhoe attachment for it or buying a Chinese mini excavator. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
I’m at a point of Chinese mini excavator or backhoe attachment. Both the same money. Any thoughts?
great video and beautifully balanced audio. I learned a ton!
Love the clearing of the land! Love this process! I'm obsessed! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
Was a great video. Enjoyed it. Learned a little. Thanks
I'm glad you got something out of it. Thanks for watching.
You are the only video I could find on a tractor like mine where the seat rotates for using the back hoe. Very good information... appreciate you.
Thank you. I have a TYM T254 and it seems to be about identical. Now i donfeel so defeated. I also appreciate realizing there may be room for the 3point hitch to stay slightly assembled while the backhoe is on. Thank you so much man.
Good job. I'm waiting for you to post a video on changing the fuel filter now before I try it myself! LOL
Really appreciate this video. However, I know you younger generations have trouble with your genders but I think you got your male and females mixed up. I'm not going to go back and watch it again just for that, but it was funny.
Come back. I need more videos.
If you have a grapple you can use it with the backhoe on stumps.
3 point back hoe yuck. No thanks.
Great video! Be careful where you put your fingers though!! It appeared you put your finger in the pin hole while it was supported by hydraulic power. (Coming from a guy whose had a finger amputated by hydraulics). Thanks for the video though,I'm looking at mounting this in a different application and need to make custom mounts so I was interested in how it is supported.
Thanks again. I watch this video every single time I put backhoe on. Perfect explanation.
No problem, I'm glad it's helpful. Thank you for watching.
love the video..... you said betwixt 4 TIMES!!!!!!!!
I'm glad you liked it. Thanks for watching.
Very nice Job, Really appreciated Thanks
I hope you found it helpful. Thanks for watching.
Were you happy with the crushed concrete?
Absolutely, I'll be ordering more for a parking pad. If a plant has it near you, it can't be beat for the price. But not everywhere has a crusher with the appropriate screens for different size gravel.
I'm doing a driveway extension and prepping ground for a pole barn with a TYM T254. I need to use all my dirt to fill in the low spots in my yard and grade the slope but all the clumps of sod make this less than desireable. I decided to order a tiller and that way I can chew up the sod and the dirt together and then spread it uniformly over the property. Wish me luck.
Very nice. I did everything you mentioned...took the BH off & forgot how it fit together and took the hoses apart & left pressure in one of them on the BH - it was the small one that got me. But thanks to your clear instructions it is back together and ready to work. Thanks.. P.R. 🤠😁😀🚜
I'm glad it helped. Thanks for watching
Use the thumb!!!
Great demonstration....thanks for sharing
Thanks you. Hope it helped
I got an RK24 identical to yours the other day, did the exact same thing with that jaw trying to adjust it lol it almost got me in the noggin!
Go job first time a
Oh man!!!!! Thank you so much. I bought the Branson version of this tractor over the savings of about $900. I could not find how to reconnect this backhoe after about 8 months of using the tractor without the backhoe. There was nothing to be found on the internet. The dealer didn’t have another like it to see it. I thought of driving to RK to see if the had one there to explore and decided to google the RK24 video and you’ve saved the day!!!! I really appreciate your effort w this video Btw your driveway gravel project video was one of the key factors on my decision to go with this size and model Thanks again
I had the backhoe added after purchase. You have three hoses, mine only has two. What is the small hose for?
That's what I'm trying to figure out as well. I bought my RK24 last year with the backhoe and it only has two hoses.
@@michaelvoland3625 I had to ask RK about that too. They said that the newer models no longer use the third hose. They didn't explain why.
@@philliplarson8005 wow, that’s weird but I’m glad to only have have two hoses, less problems…. Thanks for sharing!
Nice machine and great video
Thank you and thanks for watching!
Great video, very thorough. This is the same backhoe on the Branson 2505H, I would hazard a guess that there might be a few more brands as well. Thank you again for the attention to detail.
Thank you for watching!
Yes!!!! I’ve looked for that Branson 2505H video and didn’t find anything until I remembered the RK version and this superb video showed up on the search
This is truly one of the best gravel work videos on UA-cam. I bought an RK24 back in April 2021 with the backhoe, loader, grapple and box blade. 140hrs on the clock already and have got tons of work done. It’s performed flawlessly.
Thank you. I appreciate the kind words and I'm glad your tractor has been as handy as I'm finding mine to be.
thank you so easy
No problem, I hope it helped. Thanks for watching!
You could try using the cutting edge on the back of your box blade. Start with it on levelish ground, that way your tractor would stay level and not follow the all the bumps.
Hey I’m not trying to be a know it all but I believe that the brackets on the backhoe are on the wrong sides. I ordered the backhoe in the crate and I’m doing the complete installation so I’ve been studying up. I’m talking about the large brackets that have 6 bolts. The triangle pieces welded on I believe are to space the brackets wider. Watch a few other videos and I think you will see what I’m talking about. Most seem to be the other way but it might be for a reason I’m not aware of because I’m just getting started.
I understand that you can get a bucket level indicator from RK. To be honest that’s part of the reason I watched this video was to make sure the bracket was on the loader and it is. Pretty silly they don’t include it since it’s just a metal rod!
Kioti sure has this system beat.
How do you figure?
@@sittricsshop7849 Kioti - drop the outriggers and bucket, pull 2 pins, creep forward, pull the hydraulics and drive away..
Your video was a big help. Thanks.
No problem and I'm glad I could help. Thanks for watching.
good job with that tractor! Im looking at a rk24 or a rk37 but dont have a dealer near me and i dont know if the 24's to small for me. May i ask how tall you are?
I'm 6'1" 220lbs for reference. Thanks for watching!
@@sittricsshop7849then we are the same height. Do you feel like the tractor size is good for a man your size ?
@@marcbandit1132 The chair is comfortable. The foot pedals and controls are located just fine. If I could change anything about the fit of the tractor, I would make the steering wheel adjustable. But even with that I think the tractor is a good size.
@@sittricsshop7849 thats good to know. Thank you 😊
Lower the blade angle
Thanks so much for reminding me how to reconnect the backhoe to my tractor. Your instructions are so easy to understand due to your detail.
No problem, I'm glad I could help. Thanks for watching!
good vid , I have a 24 only has 2 lines to disconnect hoe ,what is your 3rd line for?
What is the 3rd function that you talk about on the front of the video?
There's quick disconnects for attachments on the front loader that require additional hydraulic power and control such as a grapple or an auger. The bucket has up/down and tilt forward/backward. The third function is a button they give you on the controller to operate the additional lines that would open close a grapple or spin an auger. I hope that helped. Thanks for watching.
Nice video,thanks .
"Pave paradise and put up a parking lot"
Besides a push mower, you can also find tons of cheap pressure washers with non-operational pumps. I found one with a Honda engine for $40 to put on my splitter.
That's another great source for a working motor. Thanks for the comment and watching my video.
Where are all of the rocks in that dirt??? Fine looking ground you've got there!
I've learned from digging many stumps that aren't ready to be dug... expose the big roots and whack them with an axe. Nice vid. Thanks
Excellent job . Enjoy and thank you for sharing.
Ok I’m frustrated. I reconnect all three hoses and hydrolics on the backhoe won’t work. Then I disconnect the smaller of the three and they work. I guess one isn’t supposed to be hooked up?
My dad and I are looking into buying another tractor cause we sold our kioti and we’ve been looking at the little RK24 so theses videos has help us, thank ya.
No problem. I love mine. It's been extremely helpful around the property. Thanks for watching.

Outstanding video and job you did. Thank you so much
Thanks Greg. I appreciate the comments. Thanks for watching.
Yes Sir...You did an awesome job explaining. I love that you pointed out what you did wrong. These are the tidbits that help us to not make the same uhoh!! I had assumed I may never take my backhoe off and still may not but nice to know how if the need/desire were ever to arise. Job well done!!
Thank you. There are plenty of three point attachments you might find as useful as your backhoe. If you ever do need it, I hope this video is helpful. Thanks for watching.
