These trunks look like they are heavy duty. Want a pair so badly. 7-4-20 was walking down a beach in SC. 2 miles give or take. My old pair (NOT heavy nylon & NOT made in USA)had a few threads that apparently were finally just deteriorated.right in the middle of the crotch area (not trying to sound rude) instant chafing!thought it was sand so got in the ocean to rinse ..no luck! Looong walk back to my towel & flops. Almost healed up now but WOW.that was a zinger!Know a bunch of people are hurting financially right now. I lost my job but not wanting or needing for much so all good.things will get better .hope business is ok for y’all. You will be hearing from me ASAP.take care.

Keeping away from bitterness was and is such a soul killer. and your anthropological love of Malibu shows me that you have disciplined your self to get what you get in the water but keep an open mind and open heart. I took away from this, that the discipline of writing starts first with staying open and curious and compassionate. . I remember Jamie had a big Lisa Anderson article back in the day the headlines to the article were almost kiss and tell; but inside the story was a connection and respect for this lovely waif of a girl in Tom Carrol shorts a new mom with no hubby and surf talent galore. This was refreshing for Surfer back then and now, An Awesome promise of a new book that I Hope comes out to Indonesia for me to read. If you want to talk about style, I grew up as a kid surfing with Rabbit Kekai, back from the 60's on, and the whole time I'm watching Toots, I'm thinking, wait, isn't this footage of Rabbit back in the 40's, when my dad surfed with him. It's really hard to tell the difference. I love Toot's style and amazing talent. It's like going back in time, because I don't think there has been anyone else that surfs like Rabbit, since Rabbit. The unique similarity is amazing, in my opinion...
