Did the World’s Future Depend on Trump’s Victory? with Sam Knickerbocker #election
Welcome to Compassiviste Dialogues. I'm Ali, your host, and my mission with this podcast is to shed light on critical social and environmental issues worldwide, exploring avenues for positive change.
ABOUT GUEST:

Throughout his life, Sam has turned constraints into catalysts, evolving from receiving worn-out legacies to crafting empowering narratives. Today, with his specialized 21st-century Legacy Strategies, Sam is passionate about guiding others on this transformative journey.
Sam’s mission is to ensure that your legacy is not just remembered, but celebrated.

Compassion in Action and Compassionate Activism:
Emphasizing that compassion must go beyond feelings into actionable change, this highlights the potential for compassionate activism to bridge divides and address societal issues constructively.
The Role of Media and Global Perspectives:
Media's influence on perceptions of global perspectives underscores the role of accurate, inclusive reporting in reducing division and fostering understanding across different viewpoints.
Growth and Leadership in Society:

    The president doesn't make laws. Its not in his power. That might the reason..

    With all due respect but, i might understand you prefer one party over the other or one candidate over another but there is no reason to give misleading information. Biden signed the Inflation Protection Act, which includes very agressive action to combat climate change. I invite you to search more information regarding this act so you can learn more details. Trump did not pass any laws regarding discriminating specific groups, that is correct. The fact he continues to express bigoted opinions about certain minority groups certainly should be an issue for some of us that dont subscribe to that type of rethoric, especially when we are interested in how his administration is going to improve the lives of our fellow Americans that are struggling. I wish the Republican party would just drop the name calling and just focus on what is important. Its getting very tired.

      Regarding race issues, how did the Obama era fare out for minorities and how did Harris do over the last 4 years in office? As for Trump, you are so worried about the minority groups. Remind me of the laws and regulations that he proposed which stifled and hindered minority voices and equitable progress. Do you really believe that Biden or the Dems have made tangible progress to the environmental cause? Please share concrete proof, not by laws that aren't enforced or enforceable, but by statistical evidence. For example, during Biden's presidency, can we measure the reduced global carbon footprint or even America's footprint year on year (and please take into consideration the pandemic effect when showing calculations)? What I care about is to reduce the carbon emission rate. Which US government has managed to do that post WWII? What is getting tiring is Democrats losing sorely at their own finance game. Elon Musk and Donald Trump are products of precisely your neoliberal system. I don't think we will again see an American public that will be fooled by the manipulative oligarchy. It's a case of fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. The Dems don't actually represent true leftist ideals, just as capitalist leaders don't adhere to the purpose and design of traditional capitalism as being for the greatest good of the general public, not the individual competing viciously and unsustainably against another, and in turn. also causing an existential crisis. People did not necessarily vote for Trump because he is the trusted candidate to solve all global issues. This election should really tell you two things: 1. The public is tired of hypocrisy and laws that stifle the public and only cater to the "actual" governors, and 2. Modern capitalism, raised by neoliberalism, is reaching its extremist phase, in this case unsustainability, just as any unchecked socioeconomic model. I am interested in actual change. I am talking about bans and hefty (corporate budget crippling) fines. I am talking about reforms and innovations that make a difference! Now, perhaps, Trump is not that person and maybe he can be. But what is certain is that Biden, Obama, and Clinton did very little to tangibly reduce carbon and consequently the effects of global warming. The problem escalates year on year in correlation to GDP growth (because of necessary overconsumption). So the fight for all environmentalists should not be that Trump doesn't care about climate change and Harris may have, or could have. At this rate of any president from these two parties, we are directly on a cruise control collision course with extinction. You are tiring yourself wearing a heavy veil and blinders, believing an expensively curated (and advertised) and fabricated narrative in delusional submission. Education, the real kind, is necessary to truly fight climate change.

      @ Well. Based on what is published. The US lower their carbon emissions by 3%. 27 other countries reported a reduction of their carbon emissions as well. Unfortunately, we would have needed a longer time to observe what all of these initiatives would have done for our future. It doesn’t seem to be possible now if the Trump administration rolls them back but we will see. I am not a democrat and i wont be defending any specific candidate or president. I do not care who is in power, i care about facts. How minorities faired under Obama, Clinton and Biden is a very good question but i can assure you, they didn’t do any better under the Trump administration. Minorities have never been the focus of any American politician, including Democrats. Just a demographic they can go to when they want to pander for votes. Based on Trumps platform and reading this Project 2025 document, it appears we are trailing towards uncharted territory. I dont see Trump dismantling neoliberalism with these policies. I do see that if he enforces even a section of what is listed there, our economy is more than likely doomed. He is still implementing policies that will benefit the rich like himself.

      And Elon Musk revolutionized the energy, transportation, and space industries. So are we all ready to go to MAGA? The proof is in the pudding. Sorry if my video was below par and that I may not be as intelligent as yourself. But I am always willing to learn. As such, after a brief time online, I found that the Build Back Better Plan failed. After admitting defeat, it was rebranded. Please don't get me started on how that is going 🙈 I'm actually not a fan of partisan politics. I really believe the world can do better than segregated lots, each aiding to destroy the world in its own world by implementing tactics that allow them to compete in this neoliberal worldview. So I do really appreciate forming a new outlook that can bring us to harmony and sustainability. I personally don't think the American public is seeking the solution to our problems in Trump. It is however trusting him over the failures of the Dems (and again the proof is in the pudding). Enjoy the pudding!

    Jihad, directly translated, means holy war.

    • @CompassivisteDialogues
      @CompassivisteDialogues 2 дні тому

      Actually it does not. Ask google translate or any Arabic speaking person to explain how words in Arabic are constructed by three main letters. when you form these three base letters, they correspond to the minimum version of the word which translates to "effort". the term holy war was something that became used for terrorist groups. the word jihad was in the language long before there was terrorism. so I tend to use it in its original meaning outside of any manipulation. effort with a purpose to advance is the way every action should be. the harmonious activism is that which is led by compassion. this is why Compassiviste exists.

      If you care to construct a better explanation of what will happen to us and ours that is happening to you libs and in the timeframe of a few months, as you express, I will gladly respond. By the way I am not MAGA but I recognize that this was a necessary and revolutionary liberation from the chains of neoliberalism. In the context of American politics, I can say that the reason the public voted (almost unanimously) for Trump is escaping neoliberalism by choosing any alternative to Harris especially after 4 years of poor showing. It has little to do with MAGA or Trump.
