Great video! Do you have the full citation available for the ligament vs tendon structural property data?
How do you determine the optimal cut-off frequency?
How do I segment the data? Let's say I'm performing a certain action ten times , the sliding window approach does not accurately capture the signal produced during the action
Cold flow is a myth, fyi. Glass is stable. Manufacturing inconsistencies account for thickness differential. This is important.
Just one comment: for any complex z, z times conjugate(z) used in the 2nd method is equal to abs(z) squared used in the 1st method. For exampe, |1+i|^2=(sqrt(1+1))^2=2=(1+i)*(1-i)=1+1=2
why such an abrupt stop?
I'm the only person who doesn't study this and watched it out of interest
This is the best video for explaining this what if i want to design a bandpass butterworth filter to my data?
this might sounds cynical for a free educational video, but can't distinguish anything on BLACK background. Thank you.
How do we know the sampling frequency at a given data?
sampling frequency is the numbers of data that you obtained in 1 second.
Thank you very much, Kayt! I found your video very helpful! All the best!🙂
ACL probably loses stiffness (as tendons do) in part b/c they're not loaded sufficiently as they were when a person was younger
Will there be logitundal growth (height growth)
Thanks for the video. This helped.
Thank you
how to remove the unwanted data in matlab
How can I calculate the power spectrum for a GPS time series (date vs displacement). I need plots like Normalized power vs frequency (per year).
You mentioned you could plot just the region between 1 and 3 seconds, how do you do that?
It's informative
Interesting concept. Could Wolff's law apply to say height?
Did you found its answer ?
Short but great lecture
Very helpful and clear video. Thanks from a physio MSc student!
Hie Kayt, it seems filestem is unrecognised function. Pl help
Your videos are really useful! Keep it up!!!
Kayt, thank you so much for these clear informative videos! Can you please mention the source? Is there a textbook or mainly scientific papers?
its from basic biomechanics by MARGARETA NORDIN
I followed the example for my data but at the end I could get any plot for that! And I got the error about f1 #Index exceeds the number of arry elements. Index must not exceed 1# To be honest I am new in matlab. So I would appreciate if you help me by that. Thank you
Excellent explanation mam. As you told in the video how can we calculate the segment angular velocity and angular acceleration when the knee is moving from 0° to 135° Flexion movement. Can you help me out with some matlab code or any references. Thanks!!
why are you not uploading continuously? Are you busy? Your content is hugely valuable Please upload more content. thank you
great job. it helped alot
What if i want insted of principal component 1 and 2, get the plot of principal variables .
Very useful and helpful explanation. Thanks warmly :-)
Ligaments are difficult to heal. chronic lumbar instability
Thank You. Life saver
I appreciate your help. Please upload a video for take raw data and filter it. the function is clear.
I have 15 years Temperature vs height data in excell, so how can I find fs and how plot it
Love it. Thank you!
Viscoelastic materials were unfamiliar and strange till now, but it is there in human bodies, it gives better understanding of our body ligaments and tendons, thank you for this video👍
非常牛逼,兄弟
thank you <33
Too advanced for me, but I find it very interesting. I still need to take a numerical method class..
Oh my, butterworth! spicy!
Kayt please find a way to reduce muscle and nerve complications in limb lengthing surgery. Ryt now muscles can be streched upto 3inch maximum in one time. Then one need to wait for next 2 years to get the surgery again if one wants few more inches.
I have a doubt. The scaling factor in other matlab program I saw like this 1/fs*N *(abs(fft)^2). Why insted of bin (1/fs*N) Which Is correct. and(fft)^2 is ok .it is equal to conjugate part Pls answer
Limb lenghening surgery using Precise 2.2 method is the best method available to increase height after growthplates fusion in bones. So in this surgery they first break leg bones and put precise nail in leg and that distract the bone from breaking over few days using device. So that few inches can be added to height. Complications of this surgery are many but mainly its nerve damage and muscle strain ,because of which doctors have to stop after 3inches because if they will increase the gap more than 3 inches then there could be muscle damage or tighening or other damages. If you can put light on how this problem can be tackle. How can this be made possible that one can add 1foot to legs through this surgery and the complications will not be there . I simply am looking for solution .Coz my heart says this can be possible. Thanks
I want to talk to you, My heart says there should be a better solution for increasing height after growthplates fusion. Limb lengthening surgery is there but maximum we can get is 3 inch as after that complication of nerve damage and muscles strain starts occuring. I want to ask how we should do this surgery or what we should do so that complucations can be taken down and atleast 1 foot can be added to legs length. Presently only 5inches maximun is possible. If issues of muscle strain and nerve damage will not ve there the this limb lenghening surgery can achieve new heights. Looking for your reply, thanks in advance.
Hi After growthplates fusion in bones one cannot increase height. But I want to increase my height. I just want solution, because right now there is only way to increase height is Limb lengthing surgery (using Precise 2.2 and other method). Even after this surgery you can maximum increase 3 inch in one time BECAUSE MUSCLES CANNOT STRETCH MORE and we have to have to stop after 3 inches maximum. 1 want 1 foot increase in my height. I want solution how one can increase height or atleast make legs longer. I want solution. If you can help in this then please give a thought about it that how can one can add atleast 1 foot to height if one wants.
Thanks that's great. We are looking foreword to see joint moments calculation from mocap data
beast
What if I don't have a Singleton ? I mean I have an MRI slice which have 60 time frame , but I i want to plot a bunch of a specific pixel location on all time frames
