Sorry that happened to you. We used to weld many things like this in the shop. My dad was the welder. I was the whatever needed to be done guy. I never thought back then I'd be saying in the future that I miss those days but I do. In any case we bake them in the oven to the right temperature and then weld them. Of course she's a little machine work to be done before and after. We used to fix heads all kinds of interesting aluminum items. And also weld Tire molds for a major Tire company you know when they recap the tires. Always found that so interesting. Don't do J-B weld. Buy something to replace it or get it fixed by a person who has the ability to fix it properly. Unfortunately while I was busy doing everything else I never picked up the art of welding to that extent .

I was younger when I used to do junkyard playing. I remember one of the places to go in to take the parts off yourself. I had to have this part and I took it off. After calling the musical. I don't remember what it was. My butt it never work. And it still hangs in my garage years upon years later. I had to put something under my head to keep it out of that Pool of water I was in. It was a big hole that I was laying in.
