Hi, CPU intel 14900KF. I am playing with 90 FPS locked without framerate drops. I mean it would be possible to play at 120 FPS too but for me is 90 FPSok with HIGH graphics settings.

@@eSportGamesVR I agree, 90fps locked is perfect. Just started in VR and I love it so much, but my 7800XT can't handle it well enough. Going to get a 4070 TI Super, only have a 7600X CPU but should be ok for now.

Yes, VR is absolutely amazing. The feeling of race is very realistic. I don't know how good the AMD CPU is. But when i bought GPU 4070 ti super, my FPS was the same as on the previous 3070 because my CPU intel 10700 was very weak. After the upgraded CPU is good now.

@@eSportGamesVR yeah I'll upgrade the CPU after the GPU if I have to. I think my main issue is the AMD GPU though. I think Nvidia's SPS being enabled in iRacing makes a big difference, AMD's equivalent tech doesn't work in iRacing so puts more load on the GPU. At least that's my understanding of it.

Hope GPU will be enough. This GPU is very good for new games. But as you said, iracing may be a little tricky because they have a very bad CPU optimalization :(

Hi, i am at the max resolution that is possible with Valve Index - 1,440 × 1,600 pixels per eye, so total resolution is 2,880 × 1,600 pixels. I dont know how much difference is with 4K because i didnt tried it but i mean screen will be more sharp with better resolution. For me personally it is more important FOV and Hz in VR than resolution.

Actually 90 Hz and i have locked 90 fps. I would like to increase to 120 hz but 120 FPS is hard to get stable. But 90 hz is good for sim :)

@@eSportGamesVR nice thank you, was thinking between the 4070 super and 4070 ti super - but the 4070 super just seems to be able to hold 72hz properly. so just went for the ti

I was not DQ. This is bug in CrewChief. If you have penalty, they are saying you are DQ, but its not true. You have penalty which will be added to your time at the end of the race. BTW: i got 10s penalty for crossing white line when i exited Joker Lap.

Hi i have set the limiter to 90 fps. It is pretty stable. But i want to upgrade my GPU to 4070 TI super to get 120 FPS.

i have same gpu and very similar cpu ( i7 11700f ) but i only set it to 72 or 80 fps but it's usually very stable ( stable 72 fps at night on a 30 car grid in road atlanta with headlights on etc ) , very hard to get stable 90 tho , are you using link cable ? or virtual desktop or airlink ? what resolution are you running ? @@eSportGamesVR

​Usually VR footage can be shaky and jittery when viewing on a screen, but yours seems quite stable and smooth, so I was wondering if you are using any tricks to stabilize the final image

@@sa1cor473 I record screen directly from VR headset not from monitor screen. If i tried to record screen from monitor it was always terrible. For me the Best way to record VR screen is directly from VR headset. I am using plugin in OBS studio for do this. If you want, you can join me on my discord and i can help to set this for you.

I have all on the medium settings and FPS between 90 - 120 FPS. I want to upgrade GPU to 4080 to be able increase graphics settings. But the most FPS drop is on the start when is lot of cars close to each other.

@@eSportGamesVR yeah, my reverb G2 is a little higher resolution. So unfortunately, I have to drop settings even farther. I will say, upgrading from a 5600 X to a 5800 X3D helped a lot with frames at the start of races.

@@eSportGamesVR Once I learnt how to race with a manual gearbox I beat him every time. Street Rod 2 is a different story never beat the KING in that game.

I was 3rd, but in last corner car behind me pushed me out of the track and i got penalty 42 seconds and drop to 9 position :(
