Check the eggs of beehives/西洋蜜蜂の卵の確認
After decviding beehives, we check the eggs of New beehives if the new queen was born and doing well.
If the queen bee has not been produced, the buzzing of the bees from the box will become louder and noisier.
(In this case, fortunately they were quiet.)
If there is no queen bee,
the colony will gradually disappear.
Therefore, checking the eggs in the frame is an important step to see if there is a queen bee in the colony.

カナダの東端のノバスコシア州で西洋蜜蜂の養蜂をしています。
2024年春、群れが大きくなりすぎたので、今回強制的に群れ分かれさせた群。
それに、無事に女王蜂ができたか。
そして、卵を産み始めているかを確認しました。
女王蜂ができていないと、箱からの蜂たちの羽音も大きくなり、騒々しくなります。
(今回はおとなしかったです）
女王蜂がもしもいないと、
徐々にその蜂の群れが消滅してしまいます。
ですので、フレームの卵確認は、群れに女王蜂がいるかをみる大切な確認作業です。
もしも、女王蜂が出来ていないときは女王蜂を単独で購入して入れる必要があります。

I have always wanted to ride this train. The western part of the trip is very scenic and looks great from the dome car. Amtrak’s Superliner lounge cars are ok but I do miss the ability to see the front view that only a dome car can provide. Winter looks like a good time to ride since it is less crowed and you can see more due to the trees having no leaves.
Thank you for your comment. The view from the dome car was so amazing and we could stay there for hours without getting bored. The food was also very good as expected.

メープルシロップってこうやって作られるんですね。知りませんでした！手作りシロップたっぷりのパンケーキ美味しそう！我が家も蜜蜂飼ってます。今年こそハチミツを採取したいなー。
炊いていくとちよっとカラメルっぽい風味のメープルシロップ味にどんどんなってくるのが不思議です。わぁ、蜂を飼っておられるんですね。そばで見ていたら愛おしくなりますよね。秋の蜂蜜🍯の採取も楽しみですよね♪
