Great job lasting til the end, I stuck with ya. This mission is such a slog, unfortunately. To speed up the end game, two things could be different: - you could build a rocket with Kanbei on the island underneath the factory. Slowly march it up, take out the minicannon under the pipe seam, then march it up one more space and take out the seam. This could have been done while Eagle and Max were keeping Hawke occupied at the chokepoint. - Buy rockets and missiles with Max (or Andy). Even with Max, rockets are helpful for softening up the army behind the chokepoint and breaking through a bit quicker :)

You need to use your bombers to kill those anti air. Darting around them just slows you down. Esp with your 20% day to day firepower boost you can delete them easily.

Hey man, Mission 28 is the hidden lab mission. You found the secret map thing in all the other countries and unlocked the lab mission, but you didn't find it in Green Earth yet. I recommend re-doing Jess's battleship mission and try to capture more properties, even the ones out of the way. You can do it either offline so next time we see you do the lab, or you can make a video of it, your choice! By finding the map and beating the lab mission, you can start building neotanks in green earth :)

Youre trying tp turn this into a drawn out battle when its really just a puzzle. All you have to do is send your battleships south in the reefs so they dont get spotted. Using the submarines to get line of sight. And shoot the black cannons.

If you had lect it where it was and koved the mech tword it Them on the 2nd turn just load the meh onto the APC the APC wpuld be starting the 2nd turn on the bridge instesd of that city 3 spaces further from the enemy.

Adder doesnt actually get CO power more quickly. His CO power just takes 2 stars to charge. Making it easy to spam.

You should be using your APCs to block the enemy and protect your indirects.

Advance wars is a strategy game. All thhat matters is how efficently you soend your money. Fire emblem is an RPG with some strategy mechanics.

You should look at the intel menu and look at the COs stats. Youd see sensei has 40% extra firepower on his infantry, mechs, and b copters. (And i think +1 movement on transports?) It also tells you what theyre CO powers do.

You can open the menu and go to intel and see the info on the COs. If you scroll all the way down itll show the firepower of the COs units.

The units the factory produces is random. You got unlucky that it built a missile and locked down your airport so quickly. The best way to beat that mission is to rush a bomber and hit the pipe seam (cant remember if you need max to one shot the seam)

Fun fact. On the first map you can build a recon turn 1 then keep building them every turn and bum rush flaks factory and kill his units and route them in a few turns.

Lash gets +10% firepower for every terrain star. Her super co power doubles terrain stars. Also her normal power makes all movement cost 1.

Theres no reason to put the APC in range of the infantey/mech on the same turn. You can move the infantry/mech next turn so move the APC to where the infantry/mech can move next turn.

You should focus on capturing citys. Its the single most important thing you can do. A single city gives 1000 money every turn. Which adds up fast.

AI cheats in FOW. It knows everything as if there wasnt any fog and will play like there isnt any. Though i think the reboot camp might of changed that? Though that also removes a lot of the challenge the game was balanced around. Making some missions a bit of a cake walk.

The real time editing, I'm here for it 😆 Ye the main complaint people have with the reboot seems to be the speed/flow of everything, especially when you activate your powers and stuff. The new models also don't look as distinguished as the old sprite art, it's not so obvious to tell a tank from a medium tank or even a recon sometimes. Tho also they didn't really do anything new with the game. Like an online ladder would have been a great feature. Maybe some rebalancing of the COs would have been good too for PvP.

Don't know how you got recommended to me but I'm glad you were. This is exactly how I had to play the game as a kid but I got stuck at Sabrina and was generally bad at the strategy of the game.
