For those who smoke, the designated outdoor smoking area for Impression is located on the left side of the Impression building as you approach the entrance. Thanks for watching! If I had to choose, I'd give the edge to Impression when it comes to food - every meal we had was fantastic. However, Atelier really shines with its drinks, offering expertly crafted cocktails. Honestly, you can't go wrong with either resort!

Thanks for watching! The dress code is generally casual, but I did notice it’s a bit stricter for men- men are required to wear long pants at dinner. That said, I did see a few instances where this wasn't strictly enforced. To play it safe, I’d recommend bringing a pair of long pants just in case. Have an amazing time on your upcoming trip! 😊

The food quality at Impression Moxche is among the best we've experienced at an all-inclusive resort, and the Secrets Moxche side is equally impressive! As food enthusiasts, we can confidently say these resorts do not disappoint. However, the spa is a bit overpriced, and I wouldn't recommend it for seasoned spa-goers. Still, trust me-book your stay here, you won't regret it!

Thanks for watching! Without a doubt, my favorite was Secrets Impression Moxché. The food, drinks, and overall experience were exceptional. It is also a true paradise for pool lovers! That said, Hyatt Zilara also impressed with its stunning, expansive beach and prime location, just 15 minutes from the airport. Ultimately, both resorts offer incredible experiences, so you can't go wrong with either choice!

Thank you so much for watching! This is definitely a tough decision, as both resorts are fantastic with their own unique pros and cons. You mentioned that the beach is a priority, and it's worth noting that both the Dominican Republic and Mexico can experience seaweed on the beaches, particularly during hurricane season (June to October). If you're okay with not having a fully adults-only experience, I'd recommend Hyatt Zilara. It’s a great choice, especially since it shares amenities with the family-friendly Ziva next door. I personally preferred the beach at Zilara over Atelier. Seating can be a bit of a challenge at Atelier, especially with chair reserving at both the pool and beach, which was one of the few downsides I noticed. 😒 Zilara is also much easier to navigate and requires less walking to reach the beach. At Atelier, if you're not staying in buildings 1 or 2, you could end up being quite a distance from the beach. They do have trolleys available, though, to make getting around easier. @shanew7361 Hey, thanks for reaching out! We didn't catch any food related illnesses while at this resort. We ate at the buffet regularly and had plenty of fresh cut fruit and salads. Zero issues! I recommend maybe avoiding raw seafood as I often hear complaints of that being a possible culprit. The pool and beach food/drink service were amazing. The staff are very attentive. They were constantly walking around taking drink orders, and there was a poolside bbq one day. On another occasion, I saw them randomly passing out boxes of pizza from Prestos snack bar. The snack bar also has plenty of other lunch items to choose from. There were at least 2 or 3 designated smoking spots by the main pool and another lounge area in the main lobby, where I saw some guests smoking cigars. There is a cigar shop on property near the lobby, but we never went inside. Top-shelf liquor is only available in club level areas (club pool swim-up bar and club lounge). If you are interested in top-shelf alcohol you'll have to book a club level room to access those areas. There was only one bottle of complimentary wine in the room. I believe it was a cabernet sauvignon. No other alcohol was provided in the room. If you download the Hyatt Zilara app, you can see various bar menus and wine offerings. @WorthTheHypeTravels We've never been to Punta Cana. We decided to do the vip arrival. Hopefully, it's worth it. Do you need to get up early to reserve a pool or beach chair due to people playing the towel game? We're also doing club level. It's good to know about the premium liquor only spots. How do you book reservations for the restaurants? How's the departure process at the airport?

@shanew7361 This was our first trip to Punta Cana, too! 😊 We also did VIP arrival service at the airport. We flew Jetblue, so we arrived at Terminal A. For our visit, there wasn't a need for VIP arrival service. The airport wasn't crowded at all, and the lines were short at customs/immigration. The departure process was super easy. Again, there were no long lines for security, etc. We also didn't bother with the VIP lounge because their was plenty of seating at the gate. There was plenty of seating with shade at the pool and beach during all hours of the day. I think the pool game situation is heavily influenced by what time of year you're visiting. We stayed during the off-season in September. All restaurants are walk-in only, and they don't accept reservations. Wuth that being said, we didn't have any issues with table availability during normal peak times between 6:30pm - 7:30pm. The drinks at Dreams Macao are awful as well. All alcohol is watered down. Luckily, I had preferred Club member status and has a wine fridge, rum, and vodka... it's worth the extra spend.
