Wow.. the chickens are very cute and big for 2weeks 😮 . Congratulations 🎉👏🏻
Thank you Michael, you are very kind. Indeed they are ☺
Nice
Hello I love your work I need seed of azolla How I can get it
Hello Jean, thank you for your kind remarks. Unfortunately, I am not in a position to get you the seeds. Ideally, you can get them from any farmers within your region as getting them from my end will be expensive and tricky.
@@Afrifama okay Thanks
What is the cause of chicks mortality during first week?
There are various factors which can be attributed to mortality, from lack of enough source of heat which leads to overcrowding and eventually stamped, to too much heat which causes heat stress and lastly, issues to do with general health, some chicks are just weak.
What is the best temperature for broader??
Around 30 - 32 Degrees Celsius!
Very very thanks ❤❤
You are most welcome!
Thanks ❤❤
Gracias!
Great preparation brothers hoping you can getting positive results.
It was actually successful. Thankyou though.
thanks
Hope this helps you get started!
can you please breakdown the price of constructing this specific chicken house or coop
Yes, I have already answered your question through this vlog here ua-cam.com/video/1p6gublWxwA/v-deo.htmlsi=Dg0mWM77CDHecSNV
Hy I'm looking for broilers market
kindly start from your local market, engage with the traders or some of enterprises which form part of your target customers. Also you can try to engage through social media and close cicles. Good luck.
Good progress mwalimu!!
Thankyou Serah.
Good Brother. Bravo💪💪👍💕💕💘👌
Esther 😊 good to see you after a while. Thankyou 🙏🏾
🔥🤙
Thank you.
You are welcome.
Good afternoon, please l need the azolla seeds inorder to start my azolla pond please l need your help
Unfortunately we are not in a position to supply, thankyou for your inquiry.
Which breed is this with no feathers on the head?? Cobb 500 or Ross 308??
@@arnoldceaser8417 I am not sure which breed it is but can certainly aks the suppliers next week. Though I have observed the Naked neck tends to adapt well to high temperatures like here in the coastal region and they have higher performances than normally feathered broilers (Cobb 500)
Where can I get this kind of drinkers
You can purchase them from any Agrovet or Kenchick depot near you or as well from online shopping.
After how many hour should incubator start turning eggs
@@iitasakeus5838 Ideally it's usually on hourly intervals as calibrated (same day)
Fantastic progress Afrifama ❤
Appreciate sir, thankyou for your kind words.
What kind of broiler breeds are the birds?
@@BaptisteSOMDA Cobb 500 from Kenchic.
Nice demonstration. However, you have not considered the cost of mortality and the 2 chickens gifted to the staff.
Ideally the cost of mortality is usually determined when you are calculating sales (income) at the end of production which is actually factored in.
Please how to identify boiler chick, like a day old boiler
Hey, well most of the time you order from the hatchery and they will bring it to you just as broiler chicks.
Hi. I thought on the previous video you had said you were going to try two different feeds.(afrifarm feeds and another) if that's the case I think that's the cause of weight difference
This a good observation, though for this round we used Fugo and Sigma, will probably use Afrifama as early as next month. But the results cannot be conclusive since the feeds were used to two different breeds.
@@Afrifama okay
I know the feeding from week 1-3 should be non stop, However I’m confused on week 3-5. Some farmers would tell you because of sun you should only feed them from 7am to 12pm.. and introduce the feed again later in the evening while some would tell you they don’t withdraw feed at any time.. Kindly share more insights to these theories
While this is certainly true, this is my observations birds tend to prefer feeding heavily in the morning and in the evening while its still cool. Hence you will find we administer feeds in the morning and late afternoon. While during mid day when its quite hot most prefer to quench their thirst and chill, so what's the best? I would say follow what works for you. And what ensures you can have maximum weight in the shortest time possible but not exceeding the feeds budget.
Hello bro.. Do you feed your birds 24/7 from week 3-5 or you withdraw feeds once its noon and sunny?
??
Hello there, on our end we do provide the feeds 24/7 but use only the rations for that particular day all through from day 1 till one day before slaughter day.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. You are doing a good job. I want to ask you a question, do you also feed this mixture to the broilers?
Thankyou for your kind words, I am glad to hear I inspire some along the way. In regards to your question, for I now I only use Azolla to feed the improved chicken only, I haven't carried test on broiler chicken due to their sensitivity.
👏👏👏 The sky is not the limit.
Thank you Faith, I appreciate your kind words! See you at the top! 🙏
Am so happy for you Afrifama for the come back and happy to have bumped into you, Kenchic office Mombasa
Hey madam 😊I remember you, It was a pleasure meeting you too and I was really excited. Can't wait to see the progress of your new farm, please invite me for a visit soon 😊
Very informative. Thank you
Thanks for always turning watching! I really appreciate.
Why are some of the birds' neck hairless? From Nigeria.
We shaved them 😂😂😂 (Pun intended) It's a new breed from Kenchick, which surprisingly performs better than the others.
Are these kenbro or broilers
Not really, these are Kenchick Birds.
You deserve my subscription, joining you next year 2025
Thank you Ori 😊 come 2025 will be here to catchup on your progress.
@Afrifama yes, local chickens awaits me
Sound great, I wish you well and can't wait to see your project grow. Keep me in the loop, please.
What are those equipment looking like inverted funnels?
Those are feeders. We use them during the later stage.
Big up afrikaans!🎉
Thankyou Brother, see yo at the top fellow Afrikaans 😄
🎉🎉🎉 True farmer and teacher
Thank you 😊 you are very kind. Glad to hear you learn few things on the channel.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
🙂
Which breed?
This are cobb 500 from Kenchic.
Fantastic progress 🙌 Good to see Afrifama back in production. Wishing you a successful tenure ahead.
Thankyou sir, you are very kind.
Hello Brother, I want to buy the Azolla seeds from you inorder to start my Azolla Pond in The Gambia. I am from the Gambia(Inside Senegal in West Africa) I don't know whether you can sell and ship the Azolla to me and it will still be alive to reproduce and grow very well in my Azolla pond
Hello, thank you for reaching out. Ideally, it's not feasible, my advice is to check for other farmers within your locality. It should be easy and cheaper to get from that other end. On our end, it's simply not viable. But thankyou for your inquiry.
👏👏Congratulations on your journey back. Aluta continua. Looking forward to this journey
Thank you James 🙏 Looking forward to how it will unfold.
Are you on tiktok? Good work
Yes I am 😃 I have a kasmall channel where I create random shorts at the farm. Shukran though!
