I actually picked up red rising as a gift to my husband so we can read it together. Actually I wanted to read it and it was a good excuse to buy it.
Congrats on 200. Deadpool & Wolverine was a lot of fun. I think they'll be back. Too much money left in that franchise.
Howdy Rowdy! I'm excited for your upcoming rapid reviews. For the holidays, my folks are coming for a visit to see their new grandson for the first time. So it should be a fun time. I'm just hoping to get some proper sleep lol

@@RowdyPlayer1, completely understand, I was in the same boat as you. That series starts out with a bang, then ends with a yawn. I dnf'd the Faithful and the Fallen series entirely. Absolutely never saw the hype behind those books.

You know I'm a ginger? And I'm suspecting the same about you. The reason I mention it is because the sun is our enemy. SPF 1000 would not do much for us and since we don't have souls, then we would be useless on this planet.

The Green Bone Saga is probably my second or third most anticipated series of next year!

@@TT-hn7vs it was a crazy trip for sure. We had a blast but I never expected thousands of people to do it too. We have tried to be sparing with the credit so it can last be it has been very difficult 😂

They called me Logen Nine Fingers in high school. I had an accident in shop class, and the instructor fashioned a knife blade to replace my left pinky finger (which I later painted a flesh color so it's barely noticeable). Logen Nine Fingers was a better nickname than No Pinky Scottie.

Funny story about the font- I thought it was standard size until I was getting my second book formatted. 😂 So it is a little smaller than average and I can’t change it without making a whole new edition. I’m sorry 😅 I’ll send over a magnifier 😂 Again, thank you for the support!

The novella is a prequel before chronologically before Ascendant but is better read after book 1. But honestly the songs of chaos are soooo good. 10/10 I love it. The series just keeps getting better as it goes.

I think I'll wait till Sanderson finishes the series. Very well could end up in a situation where he does before he finishes it. That's the problem with these big epics that go on forever.
@@dustinneely this arc ends here at book 5 and he has said he was taking a break of like 5-10 years before starting arc 2.

I’m 80% done with Pillars of the Earth and I gotta say I hate when people say it’s a book about building a Cathedral. 😁. This book is quite dark. 12th century living…which is already pretty brutal. Then you have Kings battling for the Throne. Earls battling for the Earldom. Bishops scheming for power. Lots of Back Stabbing, scheming, Lying and killing for power in this book. It’s quite good, but the cathedral building is just kind of the back drop to the shenanigans going on here.

Thank you for including The Edan Trilogy in your future reading plans! You have some fantastic series among your top ten here. Pillars of the Earth is indeed centered on the construction of a cathedral, but there’s plenty of drama involved. Realm of the Elderlings is one of my favorite examples of how a slow burn can get you deeply attached to the characters. Best wishes for all your reads!

Reading Robin Hobb is all John from Talking Stories fault 😂 I’ve been watching his channel for about 8 months now and I’ve never seen him gush or a series like I have The Farseer Trilogy.
