Hey guys & gals my name is Robert & I'm from Los Angeles CA. I own a 2022 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road. I bought my truck February of 2022 and ever since then I have gotten more & more into off-roading & overlanding. This was our last day at Mammoth Lakes. We hit a quick trail up in Mammoth and decided to end it with the same lake we went the day before, Lake George. This time I took my stand up paddle board with me. Hope you guys enjoyed this 3 part series, more adventures to come.

On this 3 day over-landing trip to Mammoth Lakes I decided to finally make a UA-cam video. This is my first ever UA-cam video I ever post. Since this was a 3 day trip I decided to have 3 parts for this series which are day 1, day 2, and day 3. On this 1st part we head out to Crowley Lake. This lake is very beautiful and we had an amazing view all to ourselves. Hope you guys enjoy this 1st part.

People have no idea how many time you have to stop set up, back up and run past the camera, stop, back up and pick up your camera (or camera person) then do it again 20 times to have enough B-roll to make a cool video. It can be a days work even though you are trying to enjoy your vacation or time off. Most trips I dont even film much because I want to enjoy the trip!!!!
Yeah bro it really be like that. It’s a lot of hard work that people don’t see. They just see the cool shots haha but I love it. Very time consuming but once you see your finished video it’s a good feeling.

Use to go up there a lot , until a friend of mine got a ticket. N warned me about the residents nearby calling the cops. I figure like everything great it’ll come to a end , plus a lot of youngsters would go up there n drink. Might go again with my new taco after seeing this.
I think it depends on day and timing. Weekends it does get a little crazy but weekdays are best time to hit it because no one really goes. I love to go on weekdays to watch sunset. Beautiful views.

Looks like I'm sub 455. I'm looking to go to mammoth lakes in my VW golf and wing it. Never been up there and I'm in L.A. That road would probably be off limits to me. Makes me want to get a truck and ditch these city streets.

Yes brotha my Tacoma is lifted. So I got a package it came with kings 2.5 which adds 2” in the front and I have Dakar heavy load springs in the back which adds about 2.75” in the rear but that’s because I carry some weight in the back I don’t want It to sag. The wheels are Merhod 17” 701’s and tires are 33’s from Falken 285/70/17
