I have some friends who have moved to Grand Perry Al, but I have been very reluctant, because the burning of the forests in those parts scares me, not because the fire reaches the city, but my biggest concern is the smoke, which, whether we like it or not, reaches the most distant cities. How have you guys in Lethbridge dealt with this situation?

Myself and the family are hoping to move by next year. We are in love with the stranville living builds. Our 2 bed + den condo on Vancouver island is worth more than new housing builds in Lethbridge. A house is much better to raise the family.

This was a conversation I had with people two years ago when I was looking to move to one of these. Wish I had this video at that time. I do not regret Lethbridge one bit! The chinooks and proximity to multiple mountain areas was the deciding factor.

In the 70's house prices were at all time highs by the 80's they were worth pennies on the dollar. Immigration is getting tighter, people are in more debt than anytime in history and unemployment is rising, Calgary is something like highest or second highest unemployment of major cities in Canada. When Real estate prices come down enough in Ontario and BC people typically go back home.

Well Kurtis I must say , your video sound more like five reasons to move to Lethbridge then not to lol now I am from Toronto and cant even imagine to live in small town and cities not because its bad but I feel like in small towns and cites I cant have the true sense of privacy and anonymity as I have in big city , what I mean is that in big city you can go around people and never see them again if you choose to , but in small communities I guess this will be a challenge or almost impossible , but again as you say here if they like it this way then good for them !

Moved here from Sooke BC 4 years ago and so far i love it. Just did a 6k walk here in the south and went to two parks, Fairmont Park & Discovery park. It also was not windy.

This city is a shit hole!! And the crime rate and drug crisis in this town is fucked!!! Yeah this city is semi safe, until you're gettin bear maced, piled up on, and straight up threatened with weapons from the over populated homeless in this city oh and the cops don't do their jobs plus the hells angels just opened up a lethbridge chapter.. sounds pretty safe 😂

I live in Alberta and am coming to stay in an air bnb in Lethbridge with a pool, movie theatre, many rooms and living rooms, open concept, and out the back gate is a beautiful park! Can’t wait! ❤
