This song has been one of my favorites. You know..Life is hard. Things happen that we can't explain... things that can put us on our knees asking God "Why"...⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The most recent example I have is the loss of my brother. I have asked God a thousand times why he had to leave us so early. I got mad at God and honestly turned my back on Him because I was so angry and sad... I just didn't understand why God would let such a horrible thing happen.
Thankfully God has been so patient and loving towards me. My heart has softened so much over the past year or so and Im so thankful for all of the great memories that I shared with my brother.
It's hard for me to even make videos like this because he is the first person I want to share them with. I catch myself going to text him a clip of something I'm working on to get his thoughts or to share a piece im really excited about... it hurts.
I can't help think that maybe one day in heaven we'll be able to play again together! That would be pretty freakin sweet.
But until then I'm going to keep working on trying to put stuff out that I think may be able to help someone going through a difficult time... my dream would be that someone could just throw one of these songs on and just get to escape for a few minutes.
If you are going through a difficult season, remember... God is with you. He may not answer your prayers... but that does not mean that He does not love you more than anything.
There are things that we just can't grasp. There is a bigger picture that our little minds just can't comprehend.
The Lord says that He is working things together for the good of those who love Him... who are called according to His purpose.
That doesn't mean that everything this side of eternity will be rosy and play out how we want it to... but He does provide a promise of an eternity of heavenly bliss... which sounds wonderful to me!
This world is broken, full of hurts, struggles, sin, and horrible things.. but can you imagine what Heaven will be like without all those things... my hope is in Christ and His promises.

Hey! Unfortunately i don’t. It’s just something i came up with. The way i come up with the parts is to pan my guitar right and the vocal left… then i replay over and over until I come up with a part i like.
