To those who wonder, the Key Changes and slight alterations to each section are done for a variety of reasons. The first is to add tension as the players lose more time and forces them to realize that the end of the round is coming closer, the more dramatic and higher pitched the music, the closer it is to the end. The second reason I think is probably for Ann Robinson to be given aural clues of where the timer is currently at so she can speed up her speech and she can be forewarned of when to check the timer to see if the last answer to a question and or the last bank call is given in time before the clock runs out... also it helps the players to get a sense of how much time is left in the round.

This is a good tune to brush your teeth to because you'll get the right amount of time of brushing in. I love this tune. I think it's relaxing.

While that is the case, whilst TWL was shown everywhere else, the key got higher at 2:00. That was how the music was originally composed
As did I. I always thought it was 2:00. I hadn't seen this show in a long time.
Actually it gets higher at 2:10. I thought the same thing but i watched an episode and it does switch at 2:10
