If you have lost a loved on recently or at some point in your life and are struggling with the pain this has caused you this is the right channel for you. After my mum passed away unexpectedly, my life was thrown upside down and two months after losing myself completely I wanted to find the best ways to heal and become happy despite the unfillable hole that you’re left with when someone you love deeply dies.
This is certainly not an easy task but I know that despite things never going back to how they used to be, together as a community we can make it a little less painful and help each other become happy again. For us and most importantly for the people we loved so much, because in the end they would want us to be happy.
Lots of love,
Clara.

the day my mom went to heaven I started to really live.
Death can be one of the greatest motivators in life. There is a special energy that we feel after someone we love dies because it makes us realise that all of what we have is indeed not here forever.
If you are wise, you will use death to live this life to its fullest. Realise that every day we have on this planet is a gift, and every moment is a moment we will never get back. So let’s make the best that we can of this incredible experience. Let’s appreciate ourselves, those around us and all that we have more than we ever have before because life deserves that.
Thank you guys so much for your support you guys, it means the world.
Lots of Love,
Clara.

no ritual you do for a dead loved one is weird or embarrassing.

There is little talk around grieving, especially when it comes to the details. Especially for someone who hasn’t lost anyone yet, it seems weird to continue to do certain habits or practices for our dead loved ones. But when it comes to grieving, there is nothing that is weird, abnormal, or embarrassing. People will probably tell you to move on, to stop doing things for someone who is not even ...

My mum's death taught me how incredibly important appreciating your loved ones is. I always told her how much I loved her but in hindsight, I would have loved to tell her so many more things. In retrospect I would have seen her more in the years I was away and in hindsight, I would have been so much more grateful with words. You could say it’s unrealistic to always appreciate those you love, an...

When losing someone, those special days in the year all of the sudden become the worst days of the year, because it hurts the most that our loved ones are no longer with us. But despite grieving and feeling upset about the death of our loved one and the fact that they are not here to celebrate with us, we should still make these days special. They are meant to be celebrated and you deserve to s...

Healing is amazing. But on the bad days, it’s heartbreaking. The biggest part of any healing journey is to open up and accept, which unfortunately comes with much pain. My grieving journey has been beautiful in so many ways but it really can hurt so much, and often it hits you when you least expect it. #grievingexpert The pain of grief hits you like nothing you have ever experienced. If there is one thing I have learned from my mum passing away suddenly it’s patience. The grieving process takes such a long time and believe me… there are no shortcuts. You have to start being kinder to yourself and realise that good things, unfortunately, do take time, even if we sometimes wish that they would go a lot quicker. I hope this video will help you become more patient, be kinder to...

Avoiding is easy. Accepting is hard. That's why our natural response to someone that we loved so much dying is to try and avoid it at all costs. We don’t want to accept this new reality without our loved ones so our entire body pushes against it. But the sad truth is that we will only start to find peace once we have stopped avoiding and started to accept. This doesn’t mean letting go or forget...

Helping a grieving loved one can be an impossible task at times. It often feels no matter what you do, it doesn’t help at all. It’s difficult to know what to say because it is such a sensible subject that has no real solution to it. But there are things that you can do to help your loved one feel better. I realised that through the grieving process I have gone through since my mum died, there i...

"She just doesn’t get it." That was me when I was 15. Every time my mum said no, or wanted to do things that were for my own good, it made me be mad at her even more. I didn’t realise at the time that the only reason she did this was because she loved me so much, not because she wanted to do me any bad. #grievingexpert Now looking back I realise these things: Spending time with your parents is ...
losing someone: dealing with trauma triggers

Ridiculous? No. Crazy? No. Overreacting? No. These meltdowns over certain triggers that remind you of your loved ones or over items of them you have lost are completely normal. They are never about the actual situation that has happened but rather have so much meaning behind it. And when you find out the meaning, you will realise that your meltdown is totally understandable. #grievingexpert Whe...

Thankyou sooo much I love your videos. I miss my father soo much it hurts every day. That he will miss my kids graduations, he will miss everything. I miss him sooo very very much 😓
Thank you so much for all your love, I really appreciate it so much! It means the world to me that I can make a little difference in your life even thought I can’t bring him back 🥺 And I feel you so much. I can’t actually believe that my mum will never meet my kids, they won’t even know who she was. That’s a very weird thought 😔
how i been everyday for the last year n half since i lost my wife suddenly at 50 to cervix cancer and butt pain that was a tumor, never made it to the 1st chemo session yet gave us hope, no kids no friends n only a sister that comes by here n there living in the country makes its more lonely, insomnia since if i let myself ruminate at night sometimes up 30 plus hr and sleep for 6 :( always able to sleep all my life with no problems... were together 24/7 for 13 years and were together 30 years ago prior for 4 yrs... only got my mom now at 83 and none to lean on now terrifies me, esp since we live together, thankful i have here through this, after being so used to having love n being loved is si hard :( prayers for all of us
So so sorry to hear, it really does sound heartbreaking 😔 But the fact that you’re watching videos like mine already proves that you’re open to healing and becoming happy again so that’s already amazing! 🙏🏽
loss my wife of 13 yrs 8 1 23 chronic insomnia since 15 months later n haven't got better - lost my dad and grandma that almost raised me, yes - but a spouse is a diff level
Ugh that’s horrible, honestly I can’t even imagine what that’s like 😔 But I have read many stories about it in grieving books and believe me I know one day you will find happiness even if you’re still hurting at the same time ❤️

It's tough
Yes it is 🥺
I'm so sorry - I'm nearly 7yrs in and definitely still have those moments sometimes where it's so raw, so overwhelming and just so sad. I'm glad it's a little less taboo to grieve openly and publicly these days, I always say to people that losing a parent is like one of those things where you think you know how bad it will be until it happens and realise you had no idea and you never really get over it, you just learn to live with it and life kind of becomes a case of "after they died". Sending you lots of love, and hope you felt like that as long as you needed to but did manage to have some peace and calm for your afternoon too.
Awwww I love this comment 🥺 Thank you so much and ugh so it really does last forever 😫 Sending you lots of love xxx

Yes! I’m 20 and it’s only in the last year or so that I’ve really started to appreciate my parents and I’m grateful everyday that they’re here ❤

@lilysphere.Hello, please learn about Islam and read the Holy Quran. It is the best book I advise you to read in your entire life. Thank you.
REALLY CURIOUS WHERE YOU ARE FROM... CANADA? AUSTRALIA? LOVE YOUR ACCENT AND WARM HEART... THERE IS A POEM I LIKE. IT GOES LIKE THIS, I WALKED A MILE WITH PLEASURE, SHE CHATTERED ALL THE WAY. BUT NONE WAS I THE WISER, FOR ALL SHE HAD TO SAY. AND THEN I WALKED A MILE WITH SORROW, AND NE'ER A WORD SAID SHE. BUT OH THE LESSONS LEARNED, WHEN SORROW WALKED WITH ME. THOUGHT YOU MIGHT ENJOY THIS POEM, MA'AM. CURIOUS WHAT YOUR MOM DIED FROM, AND HOW OLD SHE WAS WHEN SHE PASSED... HUGS TO YOU MA'AM... TRY TO FOCUS ON BRIGHTENING THE WORLDS OF OTHER PEOPLE, MA'AM... IT SHOULD HELP BRIGHTEN YOUR WORLD AS WELL, EVEN IF IT IS TO GIVE SOMEONE ELSE A HEARTFELT COMPLIMENT. HOPE THAT HELPS...

I live on the other side lol. My family only has crappy food at home, and when I was growing up I was very overweight, and I’m 14 now im not really unhealthy but I would like to be at a better weight. I literally beg them to get real food but my dad hates spending money even though we can afford it so “no bc the real food is more expensive” all I want is real home cooked meals 😭
Oh no, I'm so so sorry to hear! The amazing thing is that you are aware of this and want to eat better, at your age I didn't care at all haha! And soon you'll be old enough to buy your own food! :) xxx
