Episode 31 Poland part II, We gotta leave!
In this episode we start with a trip recap, and try and shake off our run in with the Polish Police. Only to get reacquainted with them the next morning. We then decide to ditch Poland and go back to the west where we felt much more comfortable traveling. We take a rest day in Terchova Slovakia and then cross back into Czechia on our way to Vienna where we have an amusing string of linguistic misunderstandings with a camp ground host. This sets us up for a day to tour Vienna.

In this video I repair the horn on my 1996 Buick Roadmaster Wagon. It would stay on until the fuse got hot enough to pop. The reason? The vinyl cover over the center of the steering wheel shrinks over time and presses on the horn button full time.

So what would the Polish police have done if you haven't had the cash?
@@GreenMountainCelts No cash. They conveniently had a hand held credit card machine.
so what did they fine you for ?
Speeding. 50km in a 30. or 12 mph over. of course everyone else was driving much faster....
@@2Upon2Wheels 60 euros , cheap and no points on your licence . DO NOT get caught in Switzerland . did he give you a receipt ?

What memories! My wife and I visited the Hadrian's wall back in 2010 in our Yamaha TDM 900 in our way from Spain to Inverness. Now I own a Guzzi Stelvio NTX 🙂
"Just when you think you're the coolest guy in the parking lot, this guy shows up" : Vespa guy. Love these videos
The weather was crap most of that week. He was off to the annual Scooter Rally in Edinburgh. Maybe put it on your list. Cheers!

the Guzzi Family , all friends.
This is wild! Did you import it? "Self Undercoating Modification!" 🤣

Great video, brings back memories to the 1.6 ELX I had back in the 2000s
What is the part # for the Innteck bushing and seal kit?
INRE45M-HD. at 5:53 I list the part number on screen. www.innteckshop.it/index.php?pg=prodotti&obid=13620 In the discription. Thanks for watching .
@2Upon2Wheels Thanks, I was watching on my phone and didn't see the part # in the lower corner. I put it up on the TV this morning and noticed it. I see you have a Fiat 124, us Italian freaks need to hang together, I have Alfas and also an old Ducati Darmah.
Check out my channel for other Italian oddities.
Hi, can I ask where you got the box mounted on the right hand side, inside the pannier frame? Thanks for a great video 😊
@@kingwasp72 It’s a MyTech box. Looks like AF1 carries it. I don’t remember where I got it. It’s nice, but you need to support the bottom by tying it into the luggage mount with a bracket . I have a video of a repair to it in my Alaska series. Let me know if you need more info. Thanks for watching!
@ thanks very much will do some more digging 😁👍
Awesome trip! Any plans to visit Luxembourg soon?
@@luxair1997andTAP Luxembourg, episode 20.
why did they stoped you ? In Poland it is rare to find police speaking any English, maybe only in large tourist cities. Most of them have an attitude as if they were working as a punishment so don't expect a pleasant conversation, of course there are exceptions, but they are rare.
Routine motorcycle stop. We saw many local bikes ride by while we were interrogated. I think they were curious. We stick out.
I will try that as my car has that problem. Too bad you missed the cutting part as it is the heart of the matter. Thanks though.
Use a fresh razor blade. It’s not difficult. Thanks for watching.

did you photograph the V8 on the roundabout at night , it's all lit up !
It is interesting what you can find in people's garages.
As a fellow Guzzista that was pure bike porn thanks.
Too long, are you kidding me. I thought it was a little short, but it was GOOD! I've been waiting for you to post your tour of the museum and it was worth the wait. Enjoy your trip!
How does that work with insurance over there? Clearly car fault, Does their insurance cover damage to moto?
We have Euro green card insurance and could have made a claim. It cost nothing to fix. A claim was not worth the hassle in my opinion. Thanks for watching!
So glad you are both relatively ok. Awful thing to happen. I wear a Helite air vest in case of an accident. Never been deployed luckily but the idea seems very good.
you oiled the wheels of commerce.
Sorry to hear about the bike accident. I'm just glad to hear that neither one of you were seriously injured, good riding gear helps a lot in accidents like the one you described. Looking forward to your next video about the tour of the Moto Guzzi Museum. A place I would love to visit but will probably never make it there. I hope you keep enjoying your ride without further incidence.

Hi, your channel is great. I just bought a Stelvio 1200NTX 2014. Looking for tires. Was wondering what you consider as your go to tire for 80%road / 20% off road.
@@ericbougie7492 Thanks for the positive comment. The Dunlop Mission II has been our tire for the last 3 sets. Alaska and Europe. I am putting on a new set this weekend. Not cheap but we are getting over 12,000 miles a set and we are overloaded.
Quit a collection of Alfa cars. Thanks for sharing the museum with those of us who will probably never get to see it in person.
@@ronaldallen6403 A very well put together museum. Thanks for watching. There are lots of other vehicle museums on my channel and many more on the way.
@@2Upon2Wheels Yea I have been enjoying the videos. I have subscribed to your channel several months ago. It was during your last trip around the USA. I am waiting for the videos at the Moto Guzzi Factory Open House. That should have a lot of nice bikes old and new. I've been riding motorcycles for a little over 60 years (damn I'm old). I have never owned a Moto Guzzi, but I fine them a very interesting machine. Continue with the great trip videos.
Another interesting video, we have travelled in Europe on our 1998 Vfr 750.several times but never to Italy. Are all the roads there as bad as they look...very English in condition!
@@gilbertoreay2241 the mountain roads and passes are quite good. Generally much better than England. Better than New England as well.
@@2Upon2Wheels we find the roads in France and Spain on the whole very well maintained. In England, especially were we live and ride almost on a daily basis ( Peak District and Derbyshire) are almost third world. It's taken years of neglect to get like it is, and motorcycling really isn't what it used to be. Keep making the videos, we watch over our breakfast!
I love your videos. Keep them coming and have great stay in Europe
Thanks so much!
